Dubbed the "Rose Countess," Illyana is the unabashed muse of numerable poets and artists, a subject of romanticized pieces. The woman exudes charisma in no small measure, magnetizing with her conversation skills and interest in those around her. Where her beguiling attributes of pink eyes, pointedly sharp contours and ample lips paint the image of pomposity, Illyana is the stark contrast. Her nature is one of disarming charm, and it has often been said that some simply blurt their candid desires in her presence without realizing nor regretting so.
The daughter of an island-based lord Count and "Vila," Illyana dons an olive complexion and undertones of softer gold, often dressed in bodices emphatic of plentiful curvature. The "Contessa" cuts a striking shape, endowed considerable breasts and hips sloping outward of her waist. Her hair is long and dark like rivers of ink, given to fetching waves that bounce and sway.
Bedecked in gems of untainted clarity and exquisite ensembles, the Contessa is none too ashamed to dress as befits her station. Her gowns are often embroidered in gold, and seldom is she seen without her hallmark circlet—silver smithed in the likeness of roses.
❝Lyupria is an island-based county in the southern tropical region of Sariahsal, bordering the deserts of Theridal and the swamps of the Greylands. Lyupria is considered a gem of Sariahsal for its waters as blue as sapphires and a welcoming climate. Though storms have been known to ravage it, Lyupria is seldom ill-prepared, having mastered weather prediction through their sages and tribal druids. Lyupria is also host of Sariahsal's most known trading port. Due to its placement in the tropics, it healthily cultivates various crops and spices that would otherwise be considered rare throughout the rest of the nation.

Island nymphs are often more likened to mermaids and sirens than other nymphs though they lack fins and tails. They have a certain preference for the sea and other bodies of water with a notable aversion to arid regions. With both males and females, island nymphs have been known to court not only each other but outside races just the same. They are often found lounging on beaches, charming sailors and other visitors to their side. Rumors go to insult or slight one of these alluring creatures results in being dragged to the cool, darker depths of the ocean where even mermaids punish their own ilk for crimes committed.
"Vila" are island nymphs descended from the first of their kind, named in her legacy. A great storm swept away their previous island and found them ashore of Lyupria, the human-lorded island county. Though some of man took an interest in these nymphs, both races found individuals who greatly distrusted the other. The seeds of conflict were sewn and war broke out. Conflicts were bloody for both factions. Humans would deprive the Vila of water and essentially "dry them out" whilst Vila drowned them outright. Abject cruelty was rampant.
The war was quickly exhausting the two combatants of their population and resources, thus forcing them to draw an inevitable conclusion: peace, or a shallow victory. They had wisened up to the error of their ways and elected for peace brokered by marriage. Lord Desrosiers and Lady Noelani of the Vila encountered one another in person, pledging themselves to one another and to a bettered future for their kin united. It was from this union that Illyana, "daughter of peace" was born.
