  The winged race known only as The Children Of Daedalus" Had managed to carve a long and bloody scar in history before their fall from glory. A warlike race that put strength of body and spirit above all else that had managed to enslave many major and powerful races and civilizations that had greatly outnumbered them, but how?
  
  Our story starts with the bloodline known as "The Firstborn". Widely regarded as the equivalent of a Royal Family, the earliest known records referencing a ruler listed the name Daedalus. Daedalus was a cruel Dictator and Warlord well known by the older races of the world for his early enslavement of the then thought untouchable High Elves. Under his rule The Children of Daedalus as they had come to be known, raped, slaughtered and stole their way into power and the occupation of nearly 70% of the known world, salting the earth and destroying whatever land they could not claim, the sole reason for the development of what is now known as "The Great Empty" a massive dessert spanning the edge of a mountain range that had once been home to the forests of the now all but forgotten Wood Elves, the first race to stand against them and the first to fall.
  
  But how did they wage war against armies much larger and surely more powerful than them? It is said that Daedalus, with the aid of his mother, slew their deities, claiming their power for his own. This magic still runs deep in the veins of The Firstborn, albeit a shadow of it's former glory.
  
  Twelve Kings there had been before Pellam, their rule spanning 300 years each before their chosen son took their place. But for all their efforts, their rule had already ended at the 10th.
  
  Pellam, the newest heir to the broken throne, is King and prince to nothing. Almost 900 years ago, during the rule of his Great Grandfather, they lost an important war that resulted in the freedom of the High Elves, and the bastard children of their forced union, The Humans.
  
  Now, nearly 900 years later Pellam stands at his 21st birthday in a castle that was now little more than a glorified ruin. Ready take on his own siblings for the right to call himself Firstborn. But for what?
