  Jadeza's family were nomads, journeying in groups from town to town and settling where ever they may please. When Jadeza was a very young girl, black market slavers split the group apart, capturing those who could not flee. The men were taken to be used as laborers and pit fighters, and the women were taken as servants and worse. Since Jadeza was just a small child, she was auctioned off to the highest bidder.
  
  Thankfully, a kindly middle-aged man quickly noticed and gained ownership, bringing her home to raise her in his estate and someday care for it and himself. She was even tutored as she aged, learning basic, necessary fundamentals. Her life was not arduous or difficult - she was treated well, allowed to bathe and provided clothes, and even sometimes gifted valuable items and trinkets throughout the years. She could hardly recall her life before servitude, and rarely wondered about her family, under the assumption that she was born into her position.
  
  Jadeza grew to be well trained, obedient and loyal, even loving her Master like a daughter loves her father. But illness would take eventually him, and Jadeza's safe, sheltered world would fall apart. Her Master's legacy would go to the next heir in line, and since Jadeza was alas a lowly slave with no true currency or home, she was reclaimed by the slave market. Days spent on a ship brought her to Guildereim, where she was groomed and set out before the masses. To her dismay she found herself alone, at the mercy of The Golden Tether's patrons.
