Introduction.
Karen Smith meets Jackie Burkhart when talking about Katie. Always given everything she wants, Katie has learned to use her beauty to her advantage. That mainly includes flirting her way in and out of situations. What she lacks in book smarts, she makes up in social smarts. She knows all about social queues and body language. Years of being the queen bee have paid off; Katie can always accurately tell when someone is lying and what underlying emotions they might feel. Thus leading to her not so expected job. Katie works as a sort of detective for one of the largest gangs in America. When customers fail to pay or one member goes rogue, it’s Katie’s idea to figure out why. Whether it be a small bonus or a better gang alliance, Katie can figure out what is important to that person and use it to torture them until the leader is satisfied.
