She’s a gentle reaper who’s very patient with the souls under her care; Those who choose not to enter the after life quite yet, for whatever reason, she makes a point of taking care of and watching after them while they come to terms with their death. She has a very gentle, if curious nature and is a bit fidgety sometimes.

TEMPER: Rather patient, for the most part. She rarely raises her voice or lets people get the better of her. Other reapers may or may not earn her ire and a raised voice and/or disappointed tone if they say or do the wrong things.

HISTORY:
Alison's father was a widower, his wife having died giving birth to their daughter, who he loved dearly. Unfortunately, he refused to let anyone take care of Alison, and so often took her to work with him at the asylum he was head physician at. This wasn't detrimental to Alison in any way, actually; She seemed quite fine going to an asylum every day, despite the monsters that were often placed within this specific one; She managed to find ways to keep herself entertained.

Unfortunately, the only thing that Alison's father loved more than her, was his work, which he obsessed over relentlessly. Ever at the age of four, Alison was less of a priority than his work, and by five, the neglect and abuse both started coming from her father; He often left her at the asylum at night, either forgetting her in favor of taking his work home, or not going home himself and leaving his daughter to her own devices.

By six, her father was so devoted to furthering his own career and the sciences that he hoped would help his patients, that he had started dabbling in lobotomies. Impatient for another experimental patient, and desperate to further his research, Alison's father performed a lobotomy on his daughter, which ended up killing her shortly after she came out from surgery.

Her spirit latched onto the place of her death, the asylum. Alison haunted this place for many years, a ghostly child often reported by those who were entered into the asylum, though no one really ever put much stock into the reports, all things considered. So Alison remained largely ignored, save by the patients, some of whom saw her as a comfort, others feared her greatly.

As the years passed, Alison turned from attached spirit not willing to move on in death to an agent of death itself. When Alison's father did eventually pass, attacked by his own patients, Alison was there to move him along, as she was to move many of his patients, as mistreated and abused as they were by her father.

Despite the gruesome nature of her work, Alison quite likes her job. She feels like she's helping people in some odd, rare way that's hard to describe. It's a once in a lifetime, or once in a death, experience, and she finds comfort in her work.
