  ⬥ Empathy
  » Most of Shiloh's abilities are rooted in his knack for sensing a person's emotions. In most instances, he requires the subject to be moderately close, approximately fifty yards. This proximity requirement is negated by the presence of an empathic link.
  
  ⬥ Empathic Manipulation/Combat
  » In addition to reading a person's emotions, Shiloh can shape what he reads to suit his purposes. Occasionally, this entails emphasizing an existing emotion to manipulate a person's actions, but this is not always effective. A more frequent use for this ability is in combat, when the amplification of an emotion or thought can cripple an opponent's mental faculties by way of distraction.
  
  ⬥ Empathic Mimicry
  » The most recent development in Shiloh's empathic arsenal is mimicking the abilities of another EO after a period of unbroken physical contact, usually ten to twenty seconds. The results are always temporary, tapering off after a period of hours, during which time the affected EO will have little to no control of the stolen ability.
  
  ⬥ Energy Manipulation
  » Though more taxing than his empathic abilities, Shiloh wields powerful control over ambient energy fields. Among its practical applications are projectile manifestations, shields, and levitation. To a lesser degree, he is able to channel this ability to disassemble or shatter solid matter. These abilities drain him more quickly than those related to his Empathy, often necessitating a period of post-combat recovery when he has overextended himself.
  
  ⬥ Sensation Transference
  » When he takes damage, Shiloh is able to suppress pain to the point of numbness. The drawback to this is a lack of awareness regarding the extent of his injuries, leaving him vulnerable if he fails to notice severe damage. If properly motivated, he can transfer his own sensations of pain—but not the injury—to an unsuspecting recipient.
