• Tomoko _______ had an ordinary life; family, friends, school- a monster-shifting ferret familiar that gave her the ability to see magic spirits, giving her access to nearly limitless magical power. Then she died, was resurrected to be the thrall of another magic user. Magic user was killed by familiar, freeing Tomoko and letting her have her freedom. Albeit now she was undead, with parts of her being skin and bones... without the skin part.
  
  Also she can ride her ferret familiar into battle. Ya know, in case she ever feels bored.
