  Personality
  Nikita is a bit of a Tom boy. She is typically stoic and reserved. Trained from an early age to not hide emotion and signs of weakness. She is brutal and vicious and doesn't put up with bullshit. But beneath all of that she has in recent years come to appreciate humanity and learn to care about people. Though she won't admit it she has become a bit of a bleeding heart doing her best to help those in need. Especially those that she sees bits of herself in.

• Backstory

  From Orphan to Soldier
  Born in New Russia at the start of the third great war Nikita was an orphan from the early age of four. Her mother had died in childbirth and her father perished while fighting for the Empire. Unsure what to do with her Nikita's aunt placed her in foster care hoping that she would find her way into a family that had the means to actually care for her. Unfortunately for Nikita though this was not the case.
  
  At ten years old she was taken from the orphanage by the New Soviet government. They needed expendable soldiers to fight the empire and orphans were the perfect candidates. Under what was known as the White Spectre Operative Nikita and several other orphans went through numerous trials and tribulations from an early age. For starters their reproductive organs were removed to dissuade any human relation and they were trained to be emotionless. Desensitized to morality and forced to kill each other. The strong survived and the weak were weeded out. Nikita was one of the strong. The few that survived were taught a wide variety of skills including combat, stealth, espionage, assassination, and survival.
  
  By the Age of 17 Nikita was at the Apex of the program. Excelling far beyond the rest. It was decided that she was the prime candidate and ready to begin the next step of the program. First however she would have to undergo one last test. The remaining orphans that had been deemed as the strong in the first stage of the test. People she had trained, eaten with, sparred with, grown with. That was her test, she was to kill the remaining candidates. She swallowed her emotions as she had been taught to do and one by one cut them down in their sleep without a sound.
  
  Having passed the test she was then shipped off to the front lines of the war. Over the course of the next few years she served the New Soviet Order as a member of the Soviet Marines, Military Police, and Finally as a member of the Soviet Special Forces: Ghost Squad. It was during her time in the Ghost Squad that her full potential was realized and it was decided that she had indeed been the right choice. She had shown significant prowess in the areas of stealth, espionage, leadership, assassination, and tactical warfare.
  
  Pulling her from the Ghost Ops she was placed into the final stage of the White Spectre Operative. The final step was an experimental procedure to create the perfect killing machine. Something that could hopefully stand against the Ascended. Injected with Alien DNA during the agonizing procedure Nikita was left changed. She had become stronger, faster, more agile, her reflexes and senses heightened far beyond those of the average human. Not only that but she found herself to be capable of adapting at a superhuman speed to almost any environment or threat. Capable of making her cellular density low enough to walk through walls or high enough to make her skin as hard as iron. That was just the start of it though. Her newfound abilities also included interesting abilities like being able to breathe underwater, camouflage herself like a chameleon, raise her adrenaline production, or even lower her heart rate enough to seem as if she were dead.
  
  After the procedure she operated directly under the Soviet Government as a spy and assassin under the call-sign Banshee. Tasked with the assassination of many high profile imperial officials she spent the better part of her twenties behind the scope of a sniper rifle hoping that her efforts would aid in bringing about the end of the great war and the fall of the empire faster.
  
  What she had not expected however was the tragic events that would occur in the year 2271. In a single night after the United Nations had become so desperate to end the war that they nuked 70% of the world with an experimental thermonuclear weapon the Ascended Nano Soldiers of the Empire descended upon the UN like locust destroying their entire army and killing their leaders. The war was over and the New Soviet Order for the sake of it's own survival was forced to bow to the empire. It was not without cost though. The Empire was bitter over the loss of it's leaders. Leaders that Nikita Prizkav had assassinated. The Soviet Order handed her over to Imperial Military Police and she was locked away deep beneath the underground of Oasis the Imperial City.
  
  Four years she was kept there tortured and mocked daily. Four years she prayed that her government would send rescue. Four years and they never did. Her hope gone Nikita turned to her own devices. Angry and bitter she broke free of her prison and killed every soldier between her and freedom leaving no one in her prison alive. Fighting her way out of Oasis she took to the wastelands. Her freedom was found but it was ever fleeting she was a wanted woman and once the Empire learned of her escape they placed a kings ransom of a bounty on her making her the third most wanted person by the empire. Beaten only by the individuals known as Loki Sigrun and Takashi Shirogane.
  
  The Banshee of the Wastes
  Knowing she could never return to Oasis, Nikita sought refuge where she could in the wastelands sticking to places far from other survivors outposts. Luckily thanks to her gifts she had been giving by the White Spectre Initiative she found that she could survive places others could not. One of these places was the radiation fields on the far side of Zerothia. It was during her time here that she became known as the banshee of the wastes. A mysterious killer that was untraceable. The only sign of her existence were the random unexplained murders of individuals and sometimes entire settlements of survivors and raiders. She became the equivalent of Zerothia's boogie man. The banshee was angry and out for blood. Killing any who saw her and taking what she needed from nearby settlements she appeared and disappeared without a trace leaving a trail of blood in her wake.
  
  However the terror that the Banshee caused would eventually come to an end. One day without explanation the murders just stopped. There was no explanation or warning of her disappearance and many wondered and hoped that the Banshee had perished. However this was not the case. During one of her attacks on a raider settlement she came across something highly valuable. A photon core like the one used by the empire to fuel the force field generator that protected Utopia. Without thinking she took it back to her base in the radiation field to study it. She did not however consider the effects the radiation might have on it. The photon core became volatile and exploded opening a temporal shift that sucked Nikita into it.
  
  An Alien World?
  Upon being thrown out of the temporal shift Nikita found herself thrust into a world she could only assume was extraterrestrial. A world full of magic and mystical phenomena she couldn't explain. Humans with wings? Ghosts? Dinosaurs even. She found herself quickly fighting for survival against foes that her guns could not kill. Allying herself with a local Valkyrie named Maria and an archer who she soon found out to be like her also from earth but from an earth 200 years before Nikita was born during the height of World War 2. With her new comrades she did her best to assist them and fight to survive. During these trying years Nikita found herself face to face with the most terrifying foe she had met yet.
  
  The Locals of the alien world called it a watcher. It was said to be all seeing all knowing. Impossible to kill. Relentless and Brutal it chased Nikita and her comrades with intent to kill them. They had almost given up hope when an outlandish idea popped into Nikita's mind. If they couldn't kill it then perhaps this was a rare occasion where having emotions would aid her. She stopped running from the creature and stood face to face with the beast. Purging fear from her thoughts as she stared it down. The chilly breath of the monster tickling her neck as it stood toe to toe with her. She found herself entranced by the hollowness of the creature and lack of an actual face. After several moments the creature would back away motioning for her to follow. Only Nikita knows what happened after that but according to those that know her she spoke with the beast and the beast to her. The two became bound by spirit and the beast follows Nikita wherever she goes now. Interestingly enough Only Nikita can hear the creature speak.
  
  Home Again
  It is unsure exactly how Nikita got back to her own world but it can be assumed that somehow the locals or watcher was able to open a temporal shift and send her back through it. What is sure however is the Nikita that returned was vastly different from the one that left. She had become in her time there more compassionate and less bitter. More in tune with human emotion. Not long after she returned she began attacking raider settlements again. However this time was different. While she still left no survivors she only attacked raiders and not settlements of survivors, she did however bring food and supplies back to survivors settlements to help them though. The banshee of the wastes had gone from being their boogieman to being their guardian angel. Doing her best to help them and keep the raiders at bay. It was in this time that she met perhaps the most interesting person she had seen yet. A young woman by the name of Natalie. At least that is what name they told Nikita. Natalie seemed to have no recollection of her past and seemed to want to help and be helped by Nikita. What more though when Natalie sought out Nikita she walked in on Nikita speaking to the malevolent spirit named Matera that followed her even if in hiding while in public and showed no fear. Perhaps it was this that would lead Nikita on the greatest adventure of her life.
  
  After a fair bit of prying and journeying together Natalie confessed to Nikita that her real name was Loki Sigrun and she was searching for answers about her past. She also told Nikita about her nightmares and flashbacks that she couldn't explain. It didn't take much for Nikita to piece together that she was one of the ascended that she herself had fought so relentlessly. However she couldn't bring herself to be bitter or mad with Loki. Rather she found that Loki had become a bit like a younger sister to her or a friend. Both concepts that were foreign to Nikita. Despite Loki's former atrocities she found herself aiding the girl but she would need help that she couldn't offer. Loki needed a purpose in life and that was something that she couldn't give her. It was around that time that Nikita heard rumors of the rebellion growing in the east and suggested that they search for answers there. So with that the two set off on a journey that would finally see the fall of the Empire that had haunted Nikita for so long and eventually lead them to the realm Vasillieo and the town known as Choria.
