  • Ren's general appearance is very androgynous, leading to many confusing introductions where more often than not he is mistaken to be female. Even his voice hovers in a gendered grey area. His ebony hair is cut into a short bob that hangs above his chin but rough cut bangs across his forehead. Long eyelashes frame his dark eyes, only accentuating his already effeminate features. Under his left eye is a thin, vertical scar slicing down across his cheekbone. Dressing usually in a simplistic, minimalistic fashion, he wears a white button-down under a thin black sweater shirt that is labeled with a small, plain text of the brand's name, the sleeves of both folded up to just below his elbows. Hanging from the buttons on the collar is a simple gold, chain necklace. The bottom of the button-down is loosely pulled out of slim black jeans. Around his wrist is a small, plain gold watch. Overtop of it all, he wears a black leather bomber with a slightly faded gold inner lining. Looking close enough one could see from the stiffness and panel stitching that it is lined with a flexible armor (3A). Hidden beneath the jacket strapped to his sides is a shoulder holster that holds two Berettas, while clipped along his belt are a handful of spare magazines. A Kodachi blade is fastened tightly against his left hip. Adorned on his feet is a simple pair of black sneakers. Compared to other members of the organization, he has a rather small and lithe frame that matched his ambiguous look.

    When on jobs, he wears the same jacket and jeans but instead switches out his shirt for a dark colored button-up. The thick shape of the bulge under his shirt makes it clear he wears some type of bullet-proof vest (3) beneath. His shoes are replaced with a pair of leather black desert boots. His hope is that the look provides a more professional and serious appearance when on contracted jobs.
    For undercover, infiltration or specifically requested jobs, especially within sex districts, Ren will choose to dress up as a female, wearing a wide variety of wigs, outfits, and styles to suit his needs.

    Perks:

    Light-Footed - Faster than average reflexes. Light on his feet and is easily able to perform quick movements. Less likely to set off traps and is able to react faster to sudden attacks against him. [+10 to Dodges and Traps]

    It's a Trap! - Can dress up and act as a female. Ability to enter gender-restricted areas, is seen as less of a threat, and can use womanly tactics (such as seduction) much more successfully. [+10 to Charisma rolls when dressed as a female]

    Tsubo Accuracy - You have an eye for where to hit to inflict more painful injuries on people. Lowers the threshold of an enemies pain tolerance [-10 only on flesh] as well as their threshold to resist injuries when attacks successfully land.

    Flaws:

    Diminutive - Due to his smaller than average size and strength, he is unable to carry heavy, two-handed weapons or items without assistance [IE: Heavy rifles, Machine guns, Sledgehammers, etc.].

    Femboy - Is often mistaken as a woman. Tends to gather unwanted attention in certain situations. Often looked down upon and mocked by peers. [-10 to Charisma rolls when dressed as a male]

    Distrustful - Given his line of work, he is very suspicious of strangers and tends to keep his guard up around most. Any acts of kindness by those he doesn't know well are scrutinized, and he is wary of helping others out without good enough reason.

    Superstitious - Has a strong belief in superstitions. Refuses to do, say, or receive anything that is related to his superstitions. Will get angry and panicked if someone begins to partake in a negative superstition.

    Neat-Freak - Dislikes having anything to be disorganized, in disarray, or just plain dirty in his life. He will become upset when messes to his home or outfit are made and will work diligently to keep everything clean. He even refuses to be willingly touched or actively shake other people's unwashed hands unless absolutely necessary.
