Aeron Samael Sylos

Tall, and lean with muscles in the right places Aeron was built for speed as well as quick and precise strikes. His black hair stays messy while his blue eyes reflect the calmness of the Heavens. He also has a tattoo on his right arm, depicting a dragon descending to the Earth.

Aeron an orphaned son of a pirate and a dead whore, couldn't help the tear that rolled down his cheek as he watched his charge of two years get married off to the emperor. The kid looked beautiful, and he couldn't help but feel proud at how far she'd come since the day he'd been forcefully assigned as her bodyguard. They'd lived on the road, stealing and conning their way to survive the days after she had been threatened with death for getting engaged to the emperor. Until one day they finally arrived at the capital, and the Kid was safe. The thought brought back memories from his own past.

How he had tried to steal from the wrong person. Lucifer Sylos, the Golden Butcher. Or that is what he tells any who asks him.

Almost being killed by Lucifer, who had hesitated at the last moment brought him to the path he had traveled for the past few years of his life. Aeron then demanded that Lucifer train him. And after a thorough beating, Lucifer agreed. The training was grueling, and the sacrifices he had to make were inhumane at the best of times. Aeron first beat his Sensei at the age of 15. On that day, he was given his Senseis Katana, marking him as the heir to the Sylos family.

After the 'mysterious' death of his sensei, he claimed the Sylos family as his own and became Aeron Sylos. He spent the next few years of his life as an assassin, taking the lessons taught by his Sensei and utilizing to the extreme in order to survive the day-by-day. He eventually caught the attention of the Emperor himself. And he was made an offer he, quite literally, could not refuse. Even though he had refused profusely, the emperor had ordered him to take over the security detail for his wife-to-be. Thus he was forced into becoming a bodyguard and using his deadly teachings to defend life instead of taking it.

Fast forward two years and the Royal couple had finally been given permission to marry. Ending the contract that had bound Aerons life to his young charge. After receiving his gifts, he had been begged to stay for the wedding. Which had brought on these thoughts, and as an added bonus to those who knew him, made him cry. The years of mental training and emotional suppression could not stop it. He cursed the dead bastard that was his sensei more.

And now here he was, a former assassin turned bodyguard, turned emotional father-figure cryung at the wedding of the daughter he never had. What did the future hold for him?

"Hopefully a bottle of Sake, and a soft bed," grumbled the Ronin, ignorant to the cosmic screw-ups that would launch him into another Universe.

• His fighting style revolves around dodging attacks and doing as much damage as possible. Taking out entire groups of people within a few moments was a key part of his life as a Hired Blade.
• Dual wielding. Usually his gun and the longer blade, Wicked Heart. Though he is not opposed to using both Wicked Heart and the shorter of the blades, Heaven's Gate in tandem.
• While he isn't the best marksman around, his shots usually hit. An average of 5 times out of 10.
• He has amazing battle instinct, having been honed through years of torturous training given to him by his Sensei.

• He is illiterate. Never learning how to read or write other than his own name. It really wasn't what was important anywhere outside of the Capital.
• Almost completely oblivious to magic. He didn't even realize that his charge was a Majutsu-shi until 6 months of knowing her.
• He isn't the strongest of people, which limits his choices of armor.
• Weak in hand-to-hand combat.
• Years of relying on his instincts has turned him into an impulsive fighter.
