Fate of All

Reign of Ruination, Abominable Anilihator, World Ender, Bringer of Apocolypse, The Fatebringer, the Void Demon. All names used to describe an entity of pure hatred and chaotic darkness that seeks retribution upon the land. Said to be incredibly powerful and resilient, able to lose entire limbs and yet regenerate them as if nothing happened. Capable of producing and negating Eldritch fields, and holding multiple different Void Powers. Effortlessly it has subdued and slaughtered countless squads in the Light Mage Accord. The primary antagonist of this world, whom the Light Mage Accordance of Dawn has marked for death. Every year this creature continues to exist, the more power it gains. Many fear it will someday become too powerful to ever combat.

The ancient Void Mage who kick-started the End of All Incident. A cunning man, whom managed to trick everyone around him until he could twist the knife into them. Nearly destroyed the world, until the remaining Void Mages managed to just barely kill him and stop him from ending the entire world. His actions were the tipping point that caused the end of Void Mages, as they genocided them shortly after this incident.

Originally nothing more than a clone of the Void Demon, a puppet, a weapon to be directed upon the enemies of the Void Order, now reborn as her own individual. Fate is finding her own path and her own way through the world, finding her own purpose while helping her trusted allies in their struggle to stop Vakkra. She does not understand how the one she tried to kill so adamantly has forgiven her, but she cherishes every ounce of patience he has given her. She does not intend to squander this second chance she was given, she will not fail herself.

Fate's eyes are dark purple and glow at all times unless she is sleeping or extremely weak at the time. She does not have any body hair. Her hair goes down to her mid back and is a dark black color.

Heather Aether, one of the few generals within the Light Mage Accord. Learning from her father who served in the Terra Empire Military before joining the Accord, she underwent many teachings in tactics and combative abilities. She joined the Accord after her father was killed by her mother, who ended up being a spy for another nation. She wants to desperately find something within the Accord that explains why her father chose to die for it.

Appearance: Heather has white hair in a ponytail more often than not, if it is not up, then it goes to the middle of her back. She has a muscular frame, especially around the legs, arms, and abs. Heather has pale grey-blue eyes that seem almost misty or hazy at times. She is of above-average height for a woman. She has a spider-web scar that runs all over her left hand from the prolonged use of an amplification gauntlet.

Mable Elinsier was born to a mother and father deeply entrenched in the Accord and thus, she was born and raised within the Accord often visiting their facilities many times in her life. Her father died when she was eight, and thus her mother had to pull out completely to raise her daughter. Mable grew up afterward rather poor, and quickly joined the Accord as soon as she was old enough to help provide for her and her mother. She is very close to her, and secretly worries and stresses about her all the time. This combination results in Mable sometimes getting in way over her head in an attempt to make more money.

Appearance: Mable has snow-white hair that goes just past her shoulder blades, with irises that almost matched the color of her eyeballs making it seem like they aren't there at all. Her skin is also almost as pale as can be, giving her an almost ghostly appearance. She is a bit on the shorter side and has a scar along her back right shoulder blade. She has slight curves and gets dimples when she smiles brightly at someone.

Varidel is a Venator within the Light Mage Accord, a specialized group of mages specifically trained and tasked with tracking and hunting down the Void Demon. She was born a slave in Lucrum and was stuck there for sixteen years of her life before an unknown force killed every single guard and slaver in the compound. She later ended up in Arcadia and was taken in by the Accord, and rapidly trained up to become a member. Her unique talents for memorizing and noticing patterns and subtle details along with her excellent stamina and endurance made her a perfect candidate. The Accord is almost the only thing she knows now, unfortunately, not everyone is as... polite and kind to her about her past.

Appearance: Varidel is a tall and slender woman who tends to hide herself behind a veil and mask on the battlefield or during investigations. When she is exposed, she has short white-silver colored hair that shimmers in the light. Her back and stomach are covered in scars from when she was whipped or otherwise punished. Her chin is somewhat narrow compared to the rest of her face, and she has a Light Mage brand on her stomach.

Hannerman Von Bellatova is a member of the Accord who studies ancient relics and dangerous locations, typically old Void Facilities that tend to be both ancient and dangerous. He spent most of his early years sneaking out of the home to go exploring and document what he found. He always liked to figure out things on his own rather than have a peer or a book tell him how things worked. Despite his work in caves and relics, he tends to dress in a fancy and elegant manner. He laments how the Accord often forces him to destroy what he finds, so he has started to learn the art of painting to capture what he finds forever.

Weapon Proficiencies: Saber, Rapier, Void Relics.

Appearance: Hannerman is an oddity in the Accord, having blue eyes and short blond hair. His magic mark formed as a Light Magic symbol on his right hand. He is of average height and build, and has multiple scars under his clothes from many tumbles and falls, and collapses he has dealt with in his career. His upper body is built up with much more muscle mass than the rest of his body due to all the climbing and lifting he does in his job.

Ophelia Lightbringer is heir to the Lux Elite title and has been groomed by the Accord to fill this position for as long as she can remember. Her unique magic affinity and unique traits have led people to revere her as some kind of sign from the Atalon that there is hope to stop the Demon, as her power will be enough to counter him. Ophelia has led a very sheltered life and does not know much aside from what the Accord has told her, she doesn't even remember her parents, other than she was given up by them to the Accord. This, combined with her existence being kept a close secret, leaves her constantly yearning for the outside world and human interaction.

Appearance: Sporting an incredibly rare magic marker, Ophelia's hair will radiate a rainbow prismatic color when in the light. In darkness her hair turns completely black, and if a light of pure color is shone upon it, then it will also become that color. Her hair goes past her behind and is often braided or brushed neatly. Her skin is slightly pale and smooth, it bruises easily. Her eyes slowly alternate in color, going through the rainbow spectrum incredibly slowly, but change more rapidly if using her magic. If using magic, they can cycle through to another color within a few minutes. If she isn't using magic, it can take around twenty hours for her eyes to shift fully to a new color. She has wider hips but a smaller upper body.

Dawn Imperium is the current Empress of the Terra Empire. Forced to take the Empire's reigns at just sixteen, Dawn has always believed the death of her parents was the result of the Light Mage Accord wishing to gain more power. She has constantly hammered them with sanctions and attempted to sully their public image, driving a wedge in her people. She rules firmly and is not very open to suggestion, especially from outsiders. Recently she has begun pouring much of the Empire's resources into military training and research, some speculate whether this is for Lucrum, Tenebris, or the Accord.

Appearance: Dawn has long chestnut brown hair that is tied into two long tails on the sides of her head while the rest falls down to her lower back. Her eyes are light grey in coloration and she has a small beauty mark about an inch under her left eye. She is on the curvier and somewhat chubby side. She is of average height and always seems to have a slight blush to her face no matter what the situation is.

Executor Judicator of the Court, Hayedio Von Maximilian is the highest-ranking member of the Terra Empire Court. The very land he steps upon is designated jurisdiction of the royal court. He has the authority to be the judge, jury, and executioner where he sees fit. Despite the power of his role, very rarely does he use his executive powers save for extreme circumstances. Hayedio is a stoic yet firm man, who ensures that his positon is not trampled upon. He says people do not have to respect him, but they must respect the laws he enforces.

Appearance: Hayedio under his robes is actually quite built, and slightly taller than normal, but his shoes raise his height up a few inches to grant more authority and intimidation. He has gold-colored eyes and his face has very pronounced cheek and chin bones. His hair is a light brown color and kept quite short, often always hidden by his hat. He has slightly tanned skin and a psionic mage symbol on his lower back, slightly off-centered to the left.

Gavin Mattock is a mercenary for hire who has a past shrouded in mystery and interweaving lies. Despite being a merc and a notorious liar, he actually is pretty laid back and easy-going, and difficult to anger. He typically takes up work hunting down slavers from Lucrum in Terra, but has also worked with the Accord on several missions to hunt down and destroy their enemies, particularly the Void Demon. He is pretty good at what he does, but not too much else.

Weapon Proficiencies: Axes, Bows, Knives

Appearance: Sporting orange hair and eyes, Gavin sticks out quite well. He has white skin with a thin and somewhat short frame. His back teeth are somewhat sharper than they should be, which is evident when he smiles wide. He has a scar running up from his ankle to his inner thigh from a slash he took on one of his first jobs. He has a fire magic symbol on the back of his neck.

Logan Malleus is a gunslinger, who used to run with a gang that was secretly having him run drugs and slaves. He was desperate for money after being kicked out of his home by his father at a very young age, and took jobs without asking too many questions. When he found out, he lured the gang out and killed most of them and set what people he could free. He spends his time now trying to atone for his past mistake, helping folks out where he can. Logan has a condition that is slowly killing him, and it is accelerated whenever he tries to use his magic. Thus, he tries not to when he can.

Race: Human

Weapon Proficiencies: Knives, Daggers, Smallarms, Longarms.

Appearance: A man with broad shoulders, hips, and an overall muscular appearance with wide cheekbones and chin. He has dark orange eyes and dark brown hair that is thick and curly, as is his beard. His arms and palms of his hands have spider-web scars and burn marks from his manarot, as his magic no longer protects him from the heat they produce. He is slightly above average in height and has thick eyebrows and tanned skin from working out in the sun.

Morgan Ariana lived a rather normal life until she became a teenager, when her parents suddenly and tragically died. Her uncle took her in, however, was incredibly abusive and twisted and made her suffer and used her in the worst ways possible. This lasted for several months until a figure freed her and did something to her uncle that to this day she does not quite understand, but she knows after it happened that she forgot his name completely. In fact, everyone had. She swears up and down that this was the Void Demon who saved her, but backlash to such words has caused her to keep this notion to herself. She decided to strike out on her own, managing to find a housing for homeless people, and began to write as a passion, selling her stories to make money, and often slips in little bits and pieces of subliminal messaging to try and hopefully improve the public image of the one who saved her.

Appearance: Morgan is a short and lean lady who has thick yellow hair that curls at the ends and gets everywhere. It is down to her shoulders, and she often spins it into multiple different hairstyles to keep it out of her face. She has a lot of scars along her thighs and pelvis, and a few along her arms and shoulders. Her pale blue eyes almost look grey depending on the lighting in the room, and she has a small lighting magic symbol on the right side of her neck.

Cyra is a Mercenary from Sedar, all the way across the planet. She snuck aboard a vessel to escape the continent after her merc work in the country got her into a heap of trouble. She supported a warlord who ended up losing a major war, and was branded for execution. She escaped, and having not learned her lesson, continues her work in Arcadia now. Cyra is pretty laid back for the most part, but has bouts of intense passion be it for something she enjoys or for more unsavory emotions.

Appearances: Sporting long and vibrant violet-colored hair, Cyra tends to tie it up when on missions and let it hang down to her behind when not working. Her eyes match her hair color. She has curvy frame and is slightly above average in height. She has a few scars along her back and chest from taking slashes from foes she has fought, but there are especially a lot around her hands. She has more muscle on her arms due to swinging her swords around, and her legs from walking almost everywhere.

Orveron Archveil is a member of the S.O.S.I (Special Operations and Strategic Intelligence) a special board of the Terran Empire and Light Mage Accord that technically belong to neither group, but bridge the gap between the two splintered parties so some corporation can occur. He is a man not afraid to call out people and groups no matter how powerful they are, especially if it furthers his investigations. This has gotten him into hot water from both the Accord and the Empire, but he cares about neither. He has a job to do, and he will see it through to the end no matter what.

Magic Caste: Kinetic/Light Mage

Race: Human

Weapon Proficiencies: Knives, Small Arms.

Appearance: Overon has short blond hair and white/seashell eyes, split down a 45-degree axis. Though, often wears white contacts to maintain the illusion that he is a pure-blooded Light Mage. He has a scar on his cheek that indents slightly due to being stabbed. He has a smaller waist and legs but slightly broader shoulders, chest, and arms. He always has a lightly prickly face due to not quite shaving against the surface of his face.

Cassius is the leader of a Resistance movement that seeks to shelter people from the overbearing Light Mage Accord and its increasing corruption. Cassius met the Void Demon when he was but a child, and ended up befriending him. When the Accord came, he barely survived their onslaught in trying to kill said Demon, which ended in them burning the orphanage to the ground. He was saved and taken to a secret place, one the Accord could not touch. Many years later and he has become to defacto leader of this underground of people trying to live another day without the Accord getting them.

Weapon Proficiencies: Swords, Daggers, Bows.

Appearance: Cassius has silver-violet colored hair that goes to the back of his neck, but has two longer loose strands of hair that fall over his shoulders that are colored violet. His true hair color is actually white with violet strands, but he has opted to dye his hair due to his dislike of his Light Magic origins. He has a slightly androgynous facial structure with softer features and frame. He has pale skin like a Light Mage.

Xavier is the personal bodyguard and second of command to the resistance movement that Cassius leads. He was in line to become the next leader but turned down the offer. He is a calm and collected person who has a sense of humor and a good heart. There are rumors surrounding why he is among the resistance movement, but he has never confirmed or denied any of them. He often leads operations outside of the resistance movement underground, especially for Void Salvages.

Magic Caste: Order Mage

Race: Human

Weapon Proficiencies: Crossbows, Flails.

Appearance: Xavier is a broad man with a bald head with thick brown eyebrows. He has tomato-colored eyes and an Order symbol on the bottom of each wrist. His skin is dark and he is quite tall. He has impressive levels of arm and chest muscle from combat and working out. His skin is surprisingly soft for a warrior.

The Archon of Riven, Atheus Regime. The last living victim of the Void Mage Purge. He commands what remains of the distant descendants of the survivors of the purge within another reality. Using technology and hidden magic arts to keep himself alive, he has used his over thousand-year life to toil in his revenge and enact a plan to completely destroy all other magic life on Haycleon. His plans were forcibly scuttled when his project was stolen and taken back to Haycleon, a place he could not return to due to the Atalonian Cloak surrounding Haycleon. He was only able to once that was destroyed.

Appearance: Atheus has tanned skin and is incredibly tall. He has dark purple glowing eyes and short but thick black hair. He has not a scar to his skin, and his an Archon symbol that glows red on his back. He has an above-average frame, with more muscle mass than the average person but is not overly so.

Former Noble to the Praxis clan in Lucrum, Tiberius Praxis was thrown from his family's good graces when he was discovered to have been trading assets from under his parent's noses to gain more power and wealth. Barely escaping enslavement, he was picked up by a brand of mercenaries who taught him how to fight. He later made a name for himself by saving the people of a burning village near the Tenebris border and has begun to go off on his own to seek his own goals and ambitions.

Magic Caste: Fire-Kenetic Mage (50-50 split.)

Race: Terran

Weapon Proficiencies: Broadswords, axes.

Appearance: Tiberius has dark red eyes and hair, with a kinetic magic mark on the palm and top of his left hand. He has white skin and a fair complexion, though often times he has callouses or rough patches of skin from all his time fighting and walking. He is somewhat bulky and in very good shape, with slightly above-average-width fingers. He often wears red and black regal clothing with white fluff along the back and neck of his outfit, with armored gloves and leg guards. The gloves have pointed fingers.

The ultimate machination of Void Automatry, Huginn and Muninn are the first and only omni-adaptable robotic lifeforms in the Automaton arsenal. Their information is constantly uploaded to Odin allowing not only the Godmind to obtain new information to use against its foes, but also to construct new Huginn and Muninn models with the updated information and new bodies to best combat the threat in question. Every death is another step closer to perfection, and neither will stop or rest until their missions are completed.

Appearance: Their initial designs are jet black in coloration, had very extreme and harsh angular frames, and have lots of sharp edges. Red lines of magic power pass over their metallic bodies from a circular core in the center of their bodies. This is actually not a weak point, as anything that attempts to destroy the core is often too weak to overpower the field and is itself destroyed. They hold black rings made of the same metal as their bodies, which they use to instantly destroy reality and rip open portals wherever they wish both for transportation and for combat purposes. However, their form will change drastically after their first death, adapting themselves to fight whoever killed them last.

The last of his people, the Visus. The creator of life on Haycleon. Using his race's advanced power, he terraformed his ruined planet into a home for the lost souls of humanity when a colony ship crashed upon his world. The crew was wiped out, but the frozen embryos were not. He raised each and every one of them, scattering them across the planet as he slowly fed them the information needed to survive and thrive. Soon, he saw they began to absorb the remaining power his people left behind. They began to kill one another with it, and were destroying the world he built them. In an act of desperate compassion, he split apart his power and shattered it- preventing anyone from using its full strength. This act weakened him as he was tied to this power, and he went into slumber. Only to be awoken by an attempt on his life, when Vakkra struck him. While fending off the Void Mage and severely weakening him, he was left crippled by the ordeal and can no longer fight Vakkra, merely hold him back. But his power is failing him, he cannot keep it up much longer.
He needs someone else to take upon his mantle.

Magic Caste: Progenitor Magic

Race: Visus

Weapon Proficiencies: None.

Appearance: The Atalon is a translucent being of azure energy that looks human but lacks any facial features, nipples, holes to speak of, or genitalia. He claims that this is not his actual form, but that his true form would be difficult for humans to comprehend, so picks this avatar when speaking to them. His body looks like it should be able to be passed through, like a hologram, but still has physical mass to it and one would still be touching something solid.

One of the last few Void Mages that was looked up to and not feared before the End of All Incident, Praevent was expelled from the Void Order at a young age and stripped of all authority due to his meddling in their corrupt affairs. That did not stop him from continuing his efforts, he made great strives across all of Arcadia rooting out evils he found and silencing those he looked down upon for their aberrant actions. Be it in the Accord, The Void Order, Lucrum, the Terra Empire, it mattered not. Praevent continued on his work until his death shortly before the End of All Incident, likely caused by Vakkra as Praevent was one of the only legitimate threats to his plan.

Appearance: Praevent is an older man with wrinkles to his face and hands, and his skin has became somewhat tough from age. His hair goes down to his upper back and is a silver-white color. Despite his age, he is incredibly buff and broad. He has multiple marks along his body from battle, many scars that will never fade. His eyes are a shimmering bright purple color. He has Void symbols along his sides and chest.
