Serena and Lorelei Tanaka

The Tanaka Sisters. A pair of twins with undeniable incestuous lust for each other. Early in their human lives, Serena and Lorelei were as close as two sisters can be as children. What started out as pure sisterhood quickly turned to many nights of quietly fulfilling guilty pleasures. They've always heavily avoided public displays of affection to stave off any growing suspicions that would be seen as unacceptable. Though some things can't be helped, they've managed to slip under the radar countless times. It didn't take long for a guilty pleasure to lack its guilt, but it only took the words of one person to ruin it...

The older sister by a few hours, Serena, is psychopathic and hot headed. Despite being the protective older sister of the pair, any and all sorts of genuine care halts at her sister. Whatever emotional distress a person is in, Serena would manipulate it and turn it for her or her Lorelei’s personal gain. Happiness of a person? The surging amount of dopamine Serena can twist in her own favor to convince anyone to let a snippet of an untold secret slip. All without even ruining the mood. Nearly every word spoken from her lips constantly has a motive behind it, even the ones blurted out or spoken with haste. But despite her tendencies to never care enough, she cares enough for one other person.

As the younger sister of the duo, Lorelei is psychotic and delusional. She has seen exactly what type of power language has over a person through examples from Serena. Exactly the way any and possibly everything could be violated with ease. These examples frightened her. No, more than a simple fright, terrified her. Privacy was a heavily valued thing for Lorelei, given the situation with her sister. Paranoia would dominate her life, the fear of ever giving away too much or letting in toxicity had taken reins on her life for the majority of her human life. When human adulthood rolled around, the assumption was always there that everyone planned to exploit her in some way. It made her become very observant. Being Embraced took away some of the paranoia, but the delusions remained.

Before being Embraced, the Tanaka sisters were ultimately betrayed by the closest friend of Lorelei’s. Azusa was the only person who knew the depths of the Tanakas relationship. Serena always had her quiet suspicions about Azu’s loyalty, and even went to lengths to pursue and violate whatever privacy the girl had, but never spoke out her concerns to her sister. It was more out of care for Lorelei, there was no desire to contribute more into her constant paranoid behavior if no solid evidence was present.
Azu's Betrayal included outing them of their hidden relationship and caused a temporary uproar in the community they lived in. A continuous stream of violent men was met at their house, first cornering Lorelei and beating her into a near death condition. Serena only stood back and watched in utmost horror. Just simply how quickly it all was falling apart had kept her stunned until she was discovered in hiding then targeted herself. Then the twins were promptly chased right out of town in a heartbeat, Serena suffering moderate injuries and Lorelei fatally wounded dragging far behind, both desperate to avoid their eventual fate of death. Azu was quick to go against every promise ever made, it occupied the sisters’ minds daily, even hourly for decades after. But in showing the truth, Azu was murdered out of spite of withholding information. She was seen as the person who harbored extreme sinful secrets with anticipation to never reveal the truth. The Tanakas knew this, but never had a speck of remorse for the traitor.

Together as one, they are known as Lorrena. A person with multiple personalities. They use Serena’s body since she was physically stronger and suggestively more attractive. There's never one persona that has complete control over the other at all times nor is there such a thing as shared piloting. Lorelei and Serena only gain control after a specific trigger. After being aware of this quality, triggers can both come on purpose or on accident. The main crucial flaw of the Tanaka sisters is that they don't have recollection of memories from when the other is in control. Even in the same body, they have utterly separate memories. Lorelei wouldn't know with absolute clarity what Serena had done prior to a switch and vice versa, only as if it was a dream. And just like every dream, the majority of it fades.
In order for the Tanakas to communicate with each other, they almost always carry a notepad with them. Normally, written notes—or more recently in modern times, audio recordings—to keep each other up to date with current events. There may be other hints and details that will point to more specific occurrences; such as internet history, the behavior of a person during interaction, effects on bodily strength, etc. The list goes on. Although creating a full conversation in this style would require time and much patience, both personalities are very observant in their own extreme way. Lorelei could potentially tag every red flag associated with a person while Serena plans a precise, coordinated and strategic attack against them to make it hurt most.

I Know What You Did Last Night - If Serena wants to know something, she will always know, +1 Perception whenever Serena is in control and having conversation with purposeful motive.

D-Don't Fucking Look At Me… - It does not take much to make Lorelei discomfited. While she doesn't get “fearful”, she'd disappear in a heartbeat if she believes she isn't capable of fending for herself, +1 Stealth when Lorelei is in control and needs to retreat to safety.

Keep Your Eyes Open - In a blink of an eye, no matter the scenario, a different side of Lorrena could be present. The active twin has to gain awareness of what is happening around them immediately. +2 Alertness right after a trigger happens.
