Hannah Martin was born in North Pole, Alaska, USA on july 7th 23 years ago. She was the second youngest in the family (though her younger brother was yet to follow) and the only daughter out of six children. Growing up with brothers, she mostly spend her days doing every type of sport there was, and was never one who particularly cared for how she looked or doing her hair or makeup, atleast not in the early days. When she was 10 she started developing an interest in dancing, and took ballroom dancing classes, which she turned out to be quite a natural at. She started competing with her partner Peter (and later on first boyfriend ever) across state and later on country, and they would make quite a fuss in the industry.
Peter and Hannah started dating when they were both fifteen, after a night alone where they decided to take their relationship to the next level. They were inseperable to say the least, always on each others lap and holding hands, and spend almost every waking hour together. Hannah felt like they could take on the world together, and to some extend they did because they became national champions rather quickly after they started dating.
This all came to a halt on a rather faith-turning december, where Hannah had been driving home from Peter, and did the incredibly stupid thing to text while she was driving. She ran a red light, and a car ran straight into her side of the car. Hannah broke several bones, including both legs, one arm, several ribs and had a skull fracture. She also had several acute organ failures due to blood loss, and by the time paramedics came she had suffered enough damage to her kidneys that they were gone for good. Hannah spent a total of four days in medical induced coma, and spend the next seven months in the hospital recovering from her injuries, and while most of her injuries recovered completely, she suffered permanent damage to her right ankle, and had to have a permanent screw inserted to keep her bones aligned. Her kidneys were also completely destroyed, and she had no other choice but to start dialysis.

Whilst in the hospital, her boyfriend never visited once, and when she asked for him her mother said that Peter had never reached out. It would be eight months before she was back in high school, and even then it wasn't until a year later she could start to walk without the help of a crutch. She spend three times a week doing a four hour dialysis in a treatment center, and juggled school and physical theraphy at the same time, and because of it it's safe to say she failed majority of her classes and didn't get a good enough average grade to go to college.
However that wasn't the only saddening thing that happened to her when high school ended, because one day her father just packed all of his things, left divorce papers for her mom, and went to California. A year later when she was eighteen, they heard from him again when he had become big in the film industry with a one-hit-wonder romcom. They only found out because he decided to spend the millions he had made on trustfunds to all six of his kids, which meant they each suddenly had a million in their bankaccounts.
Hannah used her money to move to San Francisco, and what was left has gradually dissapeared into paying off medical bills. She started working at hooters just to make money, but the place has more or less made her life miserable with the amount of annoying male gazes that follows her around. To top it all of, it's been less than a year since she found out that the reason her father ran off was to marry her childhood best friend.
