Opsia has Copy Magic. As long as the magic is visible and she sees it with at least two eyes, she can copy it. Things like mind reading or healing (that doesn't glow or something) cannot be copied. If the magic changes parts of her physical appearance (like growing actual wings or an extra arm) she can copy the ability but not the physical changes. It doesn't always work because of this. For example, if she copies an ability that requires growing wings she cannot fly, but if she copies an ability that gives her super strength but makes her muscles grow, she will have the strength without the physical change.
Opsia doesn't gain the knowledge of how these abilities work, though, so she studies magic in her free time so she can be prepared to use any new powers that she comes across. She has to practice with all of her new abilities just like the original user did. A lot of it is trial and error and she's been hurt plenty of times when she misuses magic that she's not familiar with.
She keeps every ability that she gains. She can use it...as long as she can remember it.
Opsia rarely asks before copying magic.
