    Due to her close bond with Isabela, she is able to hide inside the feline’s body, retreating into her blood or cells to protect herself from heat. This isn't failsafe, as extreme heat will still hurt or draw her out to attempt to protect Isabela, but it does allow Isabela to enjoy a steamy hot bath without Lash being uncomfortable or having to split from her.
