General physical description:
-Jax has always been someone seen as more angelic- he has soft features from the curve of his face and the warmth of his rare genuine smile. His general complexion is clear and pale, becoming more gaunt the older he gets.
-His eyes are round, blue like the Caspian sea, and change to a dull grey whenever his spirits are broken.
-His hair is angel blond, almost white in some lighting, always the most groomed part of his appearance. The length of it varies slightly, but he doesn't like it too far down his neck, and he likes to have it in his face enough that he can duck behind it if he wants to. It thins with his declining health, but it's naturally whispy so it's hard to tell unless you've seen him enough when he was younger.
-Through his traumas, Jax has a difficult time keeping weight on, more times than not preferring alcohol over meals so his frame is often very frail-looking. He's always been smaller, standing at 5'8, he has the ability to put on a bit of lean muscle when he's healthy.
-Jax has self harm scars all up both arms and shoulders, as well as his thighs and side. On the back of his shoulder, he has a brandmark burned into the shape of a bird.
-Most of the time he's seen in nicer jeans or slacks and button-downs with an occasional vest for professional settings. However once and a while he was required to wear them slightly more provocatively so he looked feminine. When Jax has the choice he's in sweats, a Tee, and his favorite hoodie with some colorful Convers. He'd rather wear cargo pants out and, loose-fitting long sleeves, which he likes in bright pastel colors. At the very least it will be a T-shirt with some kind of sleeve under them to hide his scars.
Mannerisms-- Jax tends to be very jumpy with fast motions, coming with the package deal of nightmares and trauma responses. Occasionally, he might react with outbursts of anger with people getting in his face or with too much noise. He suffers anxiety attacks often. His panic response is to go stiff and silent since he's very used to shutting down when people touch him. With his conditioning, the way he interacts has a chance to come out provocatively so he'll do everything to keep to himself unless he greatly trusts someone. In general, he's reserved and a little shy, but he gets excited over small things and laughs too loud, and he always tries to help people when he can. His upbringing left him a little lost to certain social cues and he can't look people in the eye for very long

-- Jax grew up in a bigger city, one that was small enough to be mapped out in someone's head after a few years of living there, but also big enough to get lost in. His dad owned a nice house in a protected neighborhood, but Jax was never found near that place if he could help it.

Current family:
-- Adopted by an abusive single father, Carson Hale. His biological family is living but disconnected.

Family background (parents, previous marriages, etc.):
Jax's adopted father has always been single since he could remember. Jax was placed with him at the age of three when both biological parents felt they were unfit to raise a child and signed away their rights, packed up, and never saw him again, figuring the distance would be easier on all of them. Carson Hale slowly became controlling and manipulative, but Jax never saw the danger until he became extremely abusive come Jax's first year in high school after he tried to confide in him after the first tragic incident. It was downhill from there, suddenly Jax had no friends, he was always beaten up and tired, conditioned to act a certain way for show, which led him to push everyone who actually cared about him away. He was humiliated, called names since he found comfort in flirting since it scared people away. His dearest friend was excempt from his increasingly flirtatious behavior- mostly because Jax had a crush and he could relax for a little while. All of this brought him to be very self-destructive, but a few slips and a hospital trip later, he was snapped back into a reality, finally deciding he needed to learn how to get help. His closest friend was right there to catch him when he woke up and turns out they got a little closer after all.

Favorite pastimes:
-- Skateboarding, when he's able. He tends to be a bit of a bookworm. He loves cuddling, playing with animals, listening to music, and video games.

Hobbies:
-- Jax likes to collect flowers and press them- with resin when he's allowed, as well as the hikes and wandering it takes to find them. Jax has always wanted to learn how to play an instrument or two, and he'd find he's fond of plants and photography

Strongest positive personality trait:
-- Jax is extremely loyal. Aside from his anxiety, it takes a bit to truly rattle him and he can mostly be talked down with reason, he's a good listener. on his better days, he's very patient, easygoing, and loves to learn.

Strongest negative personality:
-- He tries not to show it, but Jax has a lot of pent-up anger, which he always takes out on himself. So learning not to comes with outbursts of panic attacks, breakdowns, and slip-ups. His emotions can be heavy, a little unstable at first and his mental health takes up a good amount of his energy for pretty much everything.
