Garridan Siegel Rubiter

When the clan came across the troupe of half-slain soldiers, Garridan was stumbling around in half conscious state, killing off his own men, even those who had a good survival rate. It was shocking to see a man on the brink of death, who shouldn't even be able to move due to the amount of pain, still able to move. The ruthless nature showed, as the pleas of Garridan's comrades falling on deaf ears as he out them put of their misery.

"You're dying..." Countess said softly, thinking that the boy was in a state of shock, watching in amazement as Garridan just turned to look at her and replied in a monotone voice, "And?" So, he understood what was going on? If that was the case, why did Garridan act like he couldn't be bothered enough to care?

Finally, Garridan collapsed, his body unable to go on any further. He wasn't begging to be saved, yet wasn't begging to die. He seemed content with suffering a slow, painful death as if he could care less. Torres, Kafele and Marius we're against turning him, finding Garridan's lack of emotions unsettling to say in the least. Adonis found this young man quite intriguing however and encouraged Countess to turn him.

After much deliberation, Countess finally turned Garridan. Though when the son of Vlad came around, if he felt any gratitude towards his saviors it wasn't shown. In fact, it just seemed like Garridan was even more apathetic than before. Countess expected for Garridan to lose it with the bloodlust all newborns felt, but surprisingly yet, the man just went back to killing his own people.

When the bloodlust finally hit him, Garridan killed without remorse, all his attacks were accurate, precise, calculated... showing his prowess as a warrior, but it was all rehearsed, fluid movements void of everything. Garridan took no pleasure in killing, yet he didn't seem to hesitate.

As time passed, the clan began to notice how Garridan was gone more than he was present. Often times confusing their names if not straight up forgetting them. They spent years trying to figure out what was wrong with their newest brother and son, only to discover that Garridan suffered from a dissociation disorder called depersonalization.

Garridan was stuck in a persistent state of being detached from his own body and surroundings, always existing in an out of body experience. For him, almost everything that happened in his life was like watching a very boring movie. With only brief moments of 'clarity' or being actually present in his own body that waxed or waned with intensity.

He feels emotionally and physically numb from almost every sensation and is often disconnedted from his memories, mistaking the time, place or person to the extreme of just not remembering any details. Garridan lives in a dream like state or fog, often finding the world colorless and lifeless. This also makes him very dangerous because he seems to obsess over whether he actually really does exist, as a result he repeatedly checks that his perceptions are indeed real, often by doing something terrible as a result.

Garridan is believed to be asexual as he expresses no sexual interest, feelings or romantic associations of any kind. The clan seems to coddle Garridan, giving in to any whim he might have because they fear him. They never know what he will do next or how he'll react.

During his moments of clarity, Garridan demonstrates his similarities to that of his father, proving to be highly intelligent and cunning, protective even, with a very strict moral compass (even if it is slightly sadistic in nature).
