Dana Wyne

Dana was born in San Francisco on May 22nd 2002 to Ming and Vannesa Xyn (westernized as 'Wyne', pronounced 'we-In')

Father: Ming Xyn - he was 40 years old at the time of Dana's birth. Born in Taiwan, he had emigrated to the United States when he came to attend university and became a U.S. Citizen.
Mother: Vanessa Hockenbury - Daughter of Francis Hockenbury and Lieu Tran.

While attending University of California in Berkeley, Ming met Vanessa Hockenbury and they slow-burned into a romance through their university years. They were married a year after they graduated, and after two miscarriages, Dana was born and was their only child. Dana has lived her whole life in southern Cailfornia and hopes one day to travel to Vietnam and visit some distant relatives.

Let me tell you all a story... a love story between two very different people who would have never met had it not been for a war. It is the story of my grandfather Francis Hockenbury and my grandmother Lieu Tran. I owe my whole existence to their meeting in Saigon in 1968.
