  • Detailed personality

    Luke seems aloof most of the time, blending in with human people when he's around them. He's dry and quiet, but polite to strangers and tends to ask them questions about their current emotional state-- subtly. Sadness piques his interest, and he quickly appears sympathetic, kind, and nurturing to those he sees struggling. It's all in an effort to gain their trust, and his eventual aim is to convince them to commit suicide. He's perpetually feeling isolated, wanting them to come back as angels trapped on earth like him.

    When he isn't putting on an act for his victims, he's fairly skittish, irritable, pessimistic, and gloomy, prone to having outbursts when things frustrate him too much. It's either that or he's entirely apathetic and nearly unresponsive to his surroundings, and he can sit like that for days. He's slow to trust others and is constantly stuck in a pit of guilt and self-deprecation. He is not incapable of genuine love, in fact prone to it, but it is often messy, obsessive, fraught with anxiety, and overall unhealthy. Begrudgingly, he's a sucker for being soothed and engaging in mushy things. He also has a weird moral superiority complex; he doesn't really think what he's doing is wrong but tends to judge other people a lot.
