Arthur Delacroix

Born into poverty in the plague-shadowed town of Kelwich, Arthur’s childhood was marked by hardship and hunger. Cast out by his struggling family just shy of his fourteenth year in search of a better life, free of illness, he set off alone in search of a brighter fate.

With nothing but determination, he bartered rides from passing caravans and walked the endless roads of Evaria until he found himself in the gleaming heart of the realm—Evelon, the Capital City. There, he took shelter where he could, slipping unnoticed into the storage halls of the knightly order. His luck sharply turned when he was discovered and pressed into service. First he held a job as a lowly errand boy for the general of the royal guard, then, through grit and unlikely favor, he rose toward the path of knighthood.

Now, with a blade at his hip and the city’s crest on his cloak, Arthur serves the very order he once stole bread from to survive. Some say the fire in his eyes still burns not for glory, but for the ones he left behind.
