    Stanisław "Stan" Zielinski moved three years ago from Cheektowaga, New York, to Los Angeles, California, following a fallout with members of his family and an interest in the sunnier West Coast to start afresh. Although initially crude, terse, and direct, Stan is a hardworking, slightly old-fashioned, but patient man who seems to strive to treat others the same. Since his hire in 1983, Stan brings flavors such as Beef On Weck, homemade pierogis, and Garbage Plates to the Diner.

    Following his early years at the edge of the Korean War, his worldview would be shattered by the brutality of both fronts, even though he'd lied about his age to get enlisted. Although he would bring his dove with him from the Southern Front, and bear a daughter, tensions remained strong amongst his family for the marriage. Much of this would be vented out in various impressionist and cubist paintings, although he would experiment in recent years with realism and egg tempera in this work. He currently lives with his 24-year-old daughter to this day, Dal-Rae (달래) "Daria" Zielinski.

    He is occasionally known to feed a person free of charge, should they be desperate, but Stan is also not a fan of delinquency or hooliganisms.
