  • Snowy's Background

    A lovable, excitable white pooch who lives in Yanfeng's shared apartment. Yanfeng normally isn't gone in the Dream Realm for long, as time passes very differently there than in the Waking Realm, so Snowy doesn't have to miss his human friend too much.

    Snowy has a bit of separation anxiety due to his old owners surrendering him to a shelter, where Yanfeng eventually adopted him from. His former owners had him for two years, but didn't give much history other than his breed ancestry and that he came from a family friend as a puppy. Yanfeng adopted the two year-old Snowy into his life.

    Given Snowy's nature, he and Yanfeng became fast friends, but Snowy feared being parted from him, as he was with the owners who raised him. Despite Yanfeng's demanding twin jobs, he aspired to be an understanding owner, even when he moved in with his roommate. Luckily, Snowy's anxiety has diminished with training, but Yanfeng still remains his most favorite person of all.

  • Little Lady's Background

    A refined nightmare with an air of elegance about her. Hardy and strong-bodied, she can appear intimidating (as a nightmare should be), perhaps even far moreso than her short armored rider. She's strong-willed and doesn't accept anyone upon her back than her chosen master; in this case, Yanfeng.

    With his apparent penchant for animals, Yanfeng was assigned as cavalry by the Mars Squadron and granted clearance for a steed, who was found during a mission. This is in part due to his family inheritance of a heart condition that had the potential to tire him out more easily on foot. To counter this, several feral nightmares were introduced to him.

    Being feral nightmares, they fed on fear and were utterly wild until presented with a worthy summoner or rider. Every one that Yanfeng was presented with rejected him, until he met an enormous mare that stood at sixteen hands tall. Perhaps contributing to her taming, she was one of the few nightmares Yanfeng did not present any anxiety to. Calmed by his aura, she approached him. After a long week, she allowed him to tack her. Ironic to her massive size, Yanfeng opted to name her 'Little Lady'.
