Marionne Seymour

Marionne was born in Albuquerque New Mexico to Adrian Seymour and Anna Marie Rodriguez. When her father moved to Seattle to work at Microsoft, her mother and Marianne stayed in Albuquerque for another year. Once her mother sold the house, she drove up to Seattle to rejoin her father. She was raised in a small town east of Seattle named Snoqualmie, and attended She currently works at radio station KOL 94.1 FM and does the midnight to 3AM slot. She lives with her cat Sampson in a house on Beacon Hill neighborhood in the City of Seattle.

Her Best Friend

It was the first day of school at Snoqualmie Elementary School when Taylor and Marionne first met in Miss Matthews 5th grade class. The two girls were randomly seated together at a double-desk by Miss Matthew's number lottery. Each student lined up and drew a number as the came in, and they would find that number on a desk, Marionne and Taylor both drew the number five. With three double-desks across, that made their desk the center one second row back behind desk two and in front of desk 8. Before sitting down together that first day, the two had never met. It was a start of a wonderful close friendship that lasts to this day.

It wasn't that the two girls never had disagreements. They did ... usually on stuff like who got the green M&M's or what dress to wear to the school dance and what boy to date, and as much as they had similar interests, they were two vastly different individuals. Yet you would hardly ever see them apart in social circles through school. To anyone who saw them together, they would see a certain glow in each of then when they were together. Some said they were sisters from different parents, and some asshole guys and jealous girls would try and spread the rumor that they were lovers. But the truth was both Taylor and Marionne were straight ... they liked guys and thoughts of loving a girl never entered into thought. That of course didn't stop Tay and Mari from sharing intimate friendship moments.

After they graduated from Mt Si High School in June 2015, they had a summer of fun. It was early August when Marionne and Taylor had their last fun outing together. It was the Seafair Festival on Lake Washington.

After that Marionne would move to Pullman Washington to get ready for four years at Washington State University. The funny thing about school friendships is the many times come to an end once school is done. Of course, Marionne and Taylor vowed to stay in touch, and for a while they did, but life for each of them had gone different ways, and the weekly phone calls became monthly texts, then every few months. The last message Marionne sent to Taylor was in early 2021 when she emailed a wedding invitation to her, but the email bounced back saying the address was invalid. She texted her the invite and it was received, but Marionne never heard back. Marionne got married in 2021 and soon after, had lost her phone, her new husband got her a new phone with a new number did they completely lose touch.
