Beware the Woods

  • Physical Appearance

    • Race: Forest Goblin.
    • Gender: Males.
    • Bodytype: Toned, but slender.
    • Height: Just over 4ft.
    • Eyes: Dark black pupils surrounded by yellow.
    • Complexion: Mottled green.
    • Hair: Slick and black, braided with spider webbing.
    • Scars: Lower arms are covered in small bumps from a lifetime of spider bites.

    • Alignment: Chaotic Evil

    • Personality: Patient, cruel, cunning and sadistic.
    • Likes: Experimenting with torture, breaking spirits, brewing venom.
    • Dislikes: Dwarves, humans, fire.

  • Background

    There are no leaders amongst the Forest Goblins. But few in the clan would refuse the word of their Spiderspeaker, Xasat's mother. Bonded with their titanic Megarachnid, being under the care of both the Spiderspeaker and broodmother allowed Xasat to get closer to the venerated spiders than most of his kind. Like any Forest Goblin, he was raised on raids and pillages of any undefended village they could find. Slicing and cutting were part of his joy, but it wasn't uncommon to find him missing at the end of the raid cornering whatever unlucky human or dwarf that wasn't slain in the initial rush. He made sure they never died quickly.

  • Equipment and Skills

    Dressed only in a tunic of roughly spun web, the contours of his body are mostly still discernible under the silk. Scattered across the spun fabric are varying sizes of sharpened bone shards, functioning as his collection of knives to hand. Having been trained from a young age to both create and work with weapons of bone and stone, he found his favourites amongst the efficiency of knives. The way they manage to cut and remain fast and fluid had a strange fascination for him.

    Invisible to most eyes, within his left ear is a small funnel of web, much like the large ones that cover the canopy of the swampland forest he called his home. Inside lives his first bonded spider, Esor. Although small, the black creature with a single yellow strike across its back provided the venom that made the base of most of Xasat's beloved poisons.
