Blue

Aggressive, Loyal, and charmingly blunt, Blue is built like an industrial machine and often has the notion to act like one, too. She's attracted to tasks that make use of her broad shoulders and heavyset arms, making money as a professional mover, a roadie, a farm worker, and most recently, a bouncer for the kind of upscale clubs that would never let her in as a patron. Yet despite the preconceptions others have about her working class demeanor, it would be a mistake to assume that Blue is uneducated, dim and unburdened. She possesses a canny intellect for trickery, and always has some witty joke for whenever feels appropriate, which is often for her. Outgoing but possessed of little stamina for social situations, its a toss up on a given night if she'll lead an entire bar in drinking songs or nurse a drink in quiet reservation all by herself.

Anyone who spends enough time to get to know blue as a proper friend will realize that she is different, but its all easily chalked up to autism (Which she admits to freely) or Trauma (To which she will never, ever admit to.) While it provides a ready explanation for her tendency to suddenly disconnect from social contexts, or her habit of vanishing for long walks at the end of town, or her enthusiasm for niche subjects, there is much more to Blue's true nature than most any mortal will ever know.

Blues keen wit and shining eyes betray a truth few can perceive:She's just as much a monster as a woman. Its from this underlying, feral nature that her best and worst traits originate. She is a protective, kind, childless mother; She is a nightmare. With effort (or provocation) She can shift from human to beast with frightening ease, loosing a bipedal mass of fur, claw and cunning from within. If more subtlety is required, Blue is fond of donning the shape of a gray fox with a wild pelt and bright eyes.

Her shifter nature bears another advantage that invites troubles as well as boons. She is clued into the supernatural, aware of the mysterious things that go on in moonlit backroads and shadowy alleys, and she makes it her business to watch over her territory for any interlopers. Keening ghosts, strange spirits, bloodsucking ghuls and off-ramp witches are hers to befriend, kill, negotiate or trick. She's one of them, after all. Blue has even began to master more than base shapeshifting, cultivating a grasp of the rudiments of magic-the better to help her play tricks and batter down those who threaten her territory.
