Jellenna the Mage Slime

Jellenna put simply is a traveling mage, looking to help others in any way she can! Though biologically she's just as genderless as any slime, she takes on a womanly form and identifies as such. Her body was transformed from a common pink slime to that of a self aware, sentient slime with magical capabilities and takes on a humanoid form.

She hails from a magical world where slimes are commonly just blobs of living slime going about their lives and are commonly seen as rather low-level pests unless they are residing in especially harsh environments or are directly modified to be more dangerous. As a result, she is quite the anomaly in her native fantasy realm, though humanoid slimes such as her may be more common place in other worlds.

Despite slimes being wild and often hostile creatures, she is one of the exceptions. But she is no tamed pet slime, she is a magical adventurer, a mage who's ready to explore her world, and perhaps others, to spread peace and love!

Gaining a free-thinking mind to such a degree made her curious of the world and open and excited to the prospect of exploring it. Her curious and friendly nature can be a contrast from the common slimes often seen, which are usually eager to eat anything they find and are hostile by default. Jellenna is actually very friendly and helpful, wanting to assist those she comes into contact with. To those who can get past her being a slime creature, her happy and bubbly always-positive attitude may even be contagious.

Jellena uses her magic to assist others, often regarding herself as a pacifist even, but she isn't someone who'll refrain from violence if it is necessary. To protect herself and others she will her her magic and her body to fight, regardless if she wants to or not. Despite her displeasure for violence she'll seldom shed her happy, bubbly nature when she's fighting since she'll try to have fun and enjoy herself even when doing something she doesn't outright enjoy. Put simply, while she doesn't enjoy fighting she'll often find pleasure in the reason she's doing it.

Jellenna has a number of magical capabilities, both internal to her as well as magics that she knows and learned. Don't be mistaken by the fact that she's a slime, she is a skilled mage who spent years learning and developing her craft, her magical nature even makes her a natural at learning new magics.

Heart Jewel: As far as magical items she possesses, she only has the one, a gemstone she called her Heart Jewel, it is a powerful magical cut gemstone which was the cause of mutating her from a normal common slime into what she is now. The Heart Jewel is often fixed upon a staff of hardened slime she forms from her own body and is otherwise tucked inside her opaque slime body for protection. The Heart Jewel has a deep link with her body and can effortlessly channel her magic and can cast her intended spells with mere thought and intention alone. It has a deep well of magic power that she is connected to and if drained its link to her allows it to replenish its magic power through her, effectively regenerating magic over time like any magical being could do.

Spells

Healing: She knows a number of healing magics, allowing her to fix open wounds, replenish stamina, and even replenish other's mana.

Levitation: She can effortlessly perform levitation magics without using her Heart Jewel and when using her Heart Jewel she can lift even more objects of much higher masses.

Elemental Magics: She knows a variety of elemental magics, mostly water related spells and nature magics, she knows earth, fire, and wind spells as well but not quite as much.

Light Magic: She can create light, lighting up a room, making a lit path, or making 3D pictures from light.

Life Magic: She can bring some inanimate objects to life, she can use this to make rock golems or have objects move and act on their own. this is often a temporary spell and objects return to normal as the spell wears off

Enchantment buffs: She can place enchantments on people or objects to increase their strength, speed, durability, resistances depending on the spell used.

Despite being rather strong she is still vulnerable to many things.

If her Heart Stone is destroyed her connection to it breaks. While her mutation won't outright reverse she'll lose a large portion of her power and become a whole lot weaker. The Heart Jewel may not be able to be repaired if it is broken, its shards might still retain its broken power but they will not be able to be replenished unless the jewel is made whole again. She doesn't just grow weaker because she can no longer use the jewel, but her own innate magical strength gets cut down, leaving her much weaker than if she were merely separated from the jewel.

Harsh winds can push her body around quite easily. She's made of slime all the way through so her body doesn't weigh much. A hard enough push will send her back and strong winds are a physical struggle to her, it's one reason she doesn't know wind-element magic as much. Creating strong winds with her own magic can even knock her around.

She has next to no magical defense. Just like many other slimes magic is very effective against her. Becoming a mage unfortunately did not gain her any magical resistance.

She has an elemental weakness towards ice just like most slimes may have. While she resists water, her body can be rather easily frozen and even broken when frozen. Though she can pull herself together when she thaws, a frozen Jellenna will be out of the fight.
