    Born and raised deep within the sprawling cityscape of Kethmora, a floating technological marvel of a city drifting aimlessly throughout the continent of Araphane, Sovann always hated his lot in life.

    From a young age, ever since he was a small boy who held his first ever sprocket wrench, Sovann dreamt of escaping the city. Unlike those who dwelled on the surface and their fancy skyscrapers, Sovann had never witnessed the breathtaking landscapes that stretched beyond the city's boundaries. He had never seen the vibrant hues of a sunrise painting the sky in shades of gold and crimson. Instead, his world was one of shadow and isolation, where the passage of time was marked by the monotonous rhythm of machinery and the relentless drone of city life echoing through the subterranean passages.
