Disclaimer: There are hundreds, and hundreds of theories, legends, and stories surrounding the myth of the Unicorn. This is my interpretation, and understanding as to how to play this character. I own none of the pictures, and they are references only. Thank you, and please enjoy.
The Unicorn is a legendary creature, often thought of as myth. Often depicted as a white horse-like animal with a long horn and cloven hooves, they are said to be stunningly beautiful. Male Unicorns also have a white beard. They are commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace, which could only be captured by a virgin. In legend, their horn was said to have the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness. They are said to be extremely proud creatures, who would rather face death then be captured alive. They are stronger, faster, smarter, and more viscous than any other kind of horse.
These fascinating and beautiful animals, although associated with purity and grace are actually not as nice and as gentle as they are believed to be. Wild creatures at heart, they fiercely protect their homes and their forest, but are not seen often, and they actually despise humans. The only exception to this is virgins, particularly virgin women. Virgins were often used in unicorn hunts, and due to the unicorns deep love of virgins, and the rapid rate at which they were dying, the Unicorns used their abilities to run through a dimensional portal to escape the cruelty of humans. This is the reason that unicorns no longer exist on the Earth, and have become a thing of mystery and legend. -
The Unicorn's Abilities
The following is a dual list. The first collapsed list explains a pure unicorns abilities. These were the abilities Amicia possessed before she escaped from her own realm. Due to her corruption, explained on the previous page, her abilities while on Earth have changed, and become much more deadly. She will be played with the second list. The weaknesses are the same, regardless of the list.
Pure Unicorn Abilities☾Horn☽
The horn is the center of all the magic, and the ultimate reason that Unicorns were hunted. It had a variety of magical powers (most of them related thematically to its purity), including purifying rivers and lakes and neutralizing poison.
☾Dimensional Travel via Supernatural Running☽
Unicorns have the ability to run fast enough to break through dimensional barriers, universes, and cross over different planes of existence or travel across various forms of reality, including pocket dimensions.
☾Enhanced Balance/Leap☽
Unicorns have the most incredible balance, an elegance grace that carries them everywhere, and their ability to jump is unmatched by any other earthly animal.
☾Enhanced Senses☽
Unicorns, like other supernaturals, have enhanced senses of smell, taste, vision, hearing, and the ability to feel when others are near.
☾Enhanced Strength☽ Unicorns are incredibly strong, and wild at heart. They will attack if they feel threatened, and have been known to penetrate enemies with their horn, or trample enemies to death as a group.
☾Powerful Bite☽
Unicorns have a devastating , and usually fatal bite. The massive creatures can easily rip an arm or a leg off a smaller enemy, and can easily hold an opponent in place if they are able to get their teeth on them.
☾Prey Instinct☽
The Unicorn possesses instincts that allows them to become a master of evasion and survival. This ability helps them discern numerous factors of a situation, including how much of a threat a foe poses, what move they will make, where they are going, and if these things relate to bringing harm to the user, as well as how to hide without giving away one’s presence, and how to preserve energy when running. It is what has helped the Unicorns avoid detection for centuries.
☾Enhanced Stamina☽
Unicorns do not easily run out of energy. They have a multitude of energy to use, and can become irritated or even violent if they are forced to keep still for long periods of time. They are claimed as "untamable" for this reason.
☾Purification/Healing☽
Unicorns have the unique ability to sense and cleanse poisoned waters. It takes a delicate touch of the unicorns horn to cleanse such poison, and they also possess the unique, magical ability to heal fatal wounds. Drinking the unicorns blood will render the drinker immortal, and resistant to poison.
☾Immortality☽
All Unicorns are immortal creatures, but they are not all powerful, and can be hurt or even killed.
Amicia's Abilities
☾Horn☽
Like all Unicorns, Amicia's Horn is the center of all of her magic. In human form, her Horn acts like a tattoo upon her forearm, spanning from elbow to wrist. It is highly intricate in design, highly magical and to change into her form, she must realign the horn with her head where it is meant to be. Her horn can also be used to impale enemies, and has a tip sharp enough to cut flesh.

Unicorns have the ability to run fast enough to break through dimensional barriers, universes, and cross over different planes of existence or travel across various forms of reality, including pocket dimensions. This ability is how Amicia escaped certain death in her own realm.
☾Enhanced Balance/Leap☽
Amicia is particularly gifted in balance, as she not only possesses the unicorn abilities, but she took several dance and gymnastic classes over the years. When in form, her ability to leap is magnificent.
☾Enhanced Senses☽
This one is pretty self explanatory. She has enhanced sight, hearing, vision, night vision, strength and speed.
☾Enhanced Strength☽
Amicia is incredibly strong, both in human form and in unicorn form. In human form, she can call on her unicorn strength, and if she wishes, she can change one of her fists or feet into a hoof when she attacks. Her kick is especially painful, or if aimed correctly, even deadly.
☾Powerful Bite☽

However, she actually uses this ability to track down her enemies, or in her current life, her clients.
☾Enhanced Stamina☽
Amicia is even more wild than a typical unicorn. She can run for hours, but she prefers to use her energy in a more...intimate and physical way.
☾Poison/Corruption☽
Amicia's ability is even more unique than her unicorn counterparts. Because she has been corrupted, rather than healing the water, Amicia is the one with the ability to poison waters, from small glasses to entire oceans. Unlike a pure Unicorn, drinking Amicia's blood will poison rather than heal.
☾Immortality☽
Amicia is a strong and immortal creature, full of darkness, but she is not unkillable. She can be wounded, or killed. (Discussion required.)
☾Wish Manipulation☽
Amicia possesses the ability to grant wishes, but as with all wishes, sometimes they come with devastating consequences. The most severe is what happened to Amicia herself, and the reason she almost never uses this power at all. -
The Weaknesses
Amicia is an immortal being, but this does not mean that she cannot be hurt or killed. Below is a list of weaknesses against the Unicorn, but these ways have to be researched in RP/ a previous relationship and knowledge must be known as Unicorns do not generally exist on the Earth anymore, and googling how to do it will yield very little results.
The Horn:
Amicia's Horn is her ultimate weak spot. It is the source of all magic, and holds her life force. Breaking, shattering or otherwise harming the horn will result in severe wounding, and probably death.
Physical Wounds:
Although powerful, fast and immortal, Amicia can be wounded through non-magical means. She can bleed if she's hit hard enough, she can be shot, stabbed, etc. The trick is you have to be able to catch her to inflict these injuries, and then not get hit by the hooves and Horn.
Light Magic;
Normally, a Unicorn's weakness would be a form of dark magic, but as Amicia has already experienced this, the opposite rings true. Light magic wounds Amicia in brutal ways, depending upon the spell used.
Virgins/Pure Spirits;
Virgins, besides the horn, is probably the Unicorns biggest weakness. Although wild and fierce at heart, Amicia becomes docile around virgins, and is inexplicably drawn to them.
Extreme Emotions;
Amicia has learned to manage these, but she does still feel the worst of the emotions. This is amplified due to corruption, but she can be very vain, jealous, and petty. She is very easy to rile up, if one knows how to do so.
