♡ Personality: Finn tends to be a quiet person and likes to keep to themselves. They do not go out of their way to make friends but are not opposed to the idea of it. They are very caring and nurturing towards their younger brothers Simon and Theo. Once they are comfortable around people, they can be a goofball and fail to understand personal space. Finn rarely takes things seriously and when they do, it is very important to them. They are constantly pushing the boundaries of rules to see what they can and cannot get away with. They are not intimidated by many, most likely the older sibling complex, and do indeed have a backbone. It takes a lot for Finn to feel inferior or threatened as their smart mouth gets them out of trouble most of the time.

♡ Past: Finn's mother, Kathy Griffiths passed away shortly after giving birth to their youngest brother Simon. After the death of their mother, their father became their caregiver. He was a good father when he chose to be but most of the time he was too busy with his job. David was a well-respected lawyer in Ireland and was often too busy to give his children his full attention. That left Finn with most of the responsibilities of caring for their two brothers. David had two fathering techniques. He was either a detached father who was content with his eldest caring for his youngest sons or he was a very doting father. There was never an in-between. David became a doting father whenever he returned home from a business trip. He would constantly bring gifts and tell his children "Red means I love you".

When Finn was 14, there was a series of murders all around Ireland. Out of concern for her father and the lack of a social life, Finn began to document the murders and her father's outings to ensure his safety. After months of documenting Finn realized her father's outings and the murders aligned perfectly. They began to grow suspicious of their father and made sure to keep their journal secret from him. For months they were documenting evidence against their father. They were too scared to speak out at first for fear that they were wrong and would damage their father's reputation as a lawyer.

It wasn't until their father discovered the journal that things began to turn for the worse. Finn was confronted by their father and forced to keep their mouth shut. David used Finn's little brothers as blackmail to keep his murders secret. For the next year of Finn's life, they were abused and often neglected by David. He only showed compassion to Finn when he returned home from a 'business trip'. That compassion would only last a few days until the abuse resumed. The fear for their brother's safety made them keep their mouth shut, but they never stopped documenting. Finn kept the old journal and filled it with useless information so their father would not grow suspicious. They had another journal in which they wrote the truth.

At the age of 16, things finally reached a climax. David returned home late one evening in a rage. One of his victims escaped and lived to tell the police. Fearing that this would give Finn the confidence to admit the truth, he turned his murderous rage towards his child. Beaten badly and unable to call for help, Simon called the police and informed them what happened to Finn. While Finn was recovering in the hospital, their father was on the run for a week. The police finally managed to arrest David. Once Finn was able to leave the hospital they used their journal and experience to testify against their father and get him the death penalty.

After the arrest of David, Finn and their brothers were put into foster care. Before their 17th birthday, they were taken in by an amazing family. Finn's journal would later be published under the name 'Rowan', which is their birth name. Finn changed their name before entering college to protect their identity and erase their relationship with their father.
