    Despite what her name would imply, Old maria looks a mere twenty years old or so.

    Old Maria is a woman of middling height with dull brown eyes, her hair is short cut and sleek black; rarely is it ever properly cleaned or brushed. With large framed clear-quartz sitting upon her small nose, and a shaky smile, she has an almost mouse-like appearance to her that is both messy and telling of her frantic nature.

    She wears simple clothes, fine blouses with flared sleeves, a decorative vest, and either felted pants of solid colors or a long skirt that falls down to her ankles. Her feet are almost always covered with thick socks, felted flats, or tall waxy boots built for stomping in the flooded marshes of her homeland. It's not uncommon to witness Old Maria donned with a protective overall, waxy gloves, and a face-mask with eye coverings to better facilitate her work.

    She hobbles burned with poor posture in the form of untreated scoliosis giving her an off look with uneven shoulders, a bend at the waist, and even a slight slouch.
