    Dex can be summed up in a clichéd glance. At first he seems like just your average, failed cop, who turned to being a private eye to keep the bills up... And you're kinda right. He has that messy, half put together, still kind of hungover air around him. Messy black hair that almost hangs over his keen, sharp eyes. He can be a bit sloppy, maybe even unprofessional, but he's got a good heart.

    There isn't much he doesn't catch, and if you need someone to go agaisnt the odds then he's your best bet. With dogged determination and zero regard for his own safety.

    He can be found in any stereotypical outfit an Investigator might wear. Favoring a semi casual button up, slacks combo with holster harness and the signature trench coat and fedora. Always accompanied by the glow of a cigarette, and his snub nose 38 special.. He's a man of principle.

    In roleplays where there are people with supernatural / super powers, Dex is often tangled in a conspiracy. After his first encounter with a shady underground lab he is accidentally imbued with the power of Umbrakinesis...

    Or shadow control as most know it.

    This allows him to effectively hide, and attack from the darkness. Though his control is limited by range, and amount of darkness present. Starting off these powers are little help with his limited knowledge and control.

    But if fostered correctly he can become rather adept at fighting crime as a vigilante.
