Jack Killian

Amos was a prince of a kingdom in a distant land, his father was King Adam. Adam's brother, his uncle, Valvados, was a rather cruel man who spoke ill of people and treated the workers of the castle rather poorly. He was always really dismissive of Amos.

Amos had met a farmer boy named Florian at Age 15, they had a devoted relationship, he would sneak out of the castle just to go see him and spend time with him. Three years into their relationship, Amos's father died of an unknown sudden illness, but it just didn't sit right with Amos (18).

Grieving the loss of his father, he was gifted the Dragonsbane Sword from the late king's advisor. Amos, now next in line for the throne, had a target on his back from his uncle. Valvados had murdered his own brother in a lust for power, in the form of the throne. And so, a few weeks later, the uncle ordered the guards to assassinate Amos in his sleep.

A firing squad lined up in his room as the lump in his bed snored. They fired dozens of arrows into the person in the bed. Amos walked into his room to see all of these people stood over the bloodstained lump in his bed. Florian had been killed on accident.

Filled with anguish, Amos fled, pursued by the army now controlled by Valvados. He managed to get away, and vanished...

A year passed, Amos (19) had taken that time to remain at large in the distant land, training. Not much is known about what he did in this time frame, not even Amos remembers it. But it is said he sold his soul countless times over in exchange for dark magic and strength. Enough to rule. Enough to conquer.

Having created a deadly mix of abilities and skills by sacrificing everything, he went back to his old kingdom to be met by an army ready to take him down. Blinded by the rage of what his uncle had done, he sliced through them, one by one, people he knew, people he trained with... Cut down.

Eventually, he became so blinded by rage that he couldn't control himself. He unleashed his full powered 'Eradication' skill. 30 square miles of land was left grey and dead, and remains dead to this day. Nothing grows there now. A devoid wasteland.

The trauma of this event would lead him to seek a life of solitude away from people. He denied himself many interactions, and never forgave himself for it. How could he?

From that point on, Amos Grimaldi became 'Jack Killian'.

Jack does not believe he deserves redemption, and so he hides himself away from people. He often dwells in forests, handcrafting his own place to live with little regard to the things around him. If anyone came across the man, they would never be found again, to try and keep his existence a secret. Despite all of this, he still yearns for someone, anyone, to give him hope for a better future.

Sword Info:

Fell Stinger was the sword he used in the massacre of his kingdom. He had this sword crafted by eldritch beings, and it is bathed in the blood of a Sacred Paladin of Light, which gives it the effect of being able to wound anything. This sword is more durable than a regular blade, but is vulnerable to Magic.

Gladius is made from Dragonsbane, the strongest (and rarest) metal. It is completely immune to all magical damage and has such a sharp edge, never dulling. This sword is extremely durable, but can still break (though near impossible to do so). It was hand carved by his father, King Adam, as a gift for his son on his 21st birthday.
