Sister - Amaryllis Beaufort (Pictured Right)
Age - 15 Deceased.
Amaryllis was too pure to have died in the manner she did. The justice Asphodel sought when she killed Robert wasn't provided in the way she thought it would be. Now she dispensed justice, rather than seeking it.

She still visited Amaryllis's grave, even if she hated graveyards.

She still celebrated every one of Amaryllis's birthdays, even if she no longer celebrated her own.






Father - William Beaufort
Age - 63 Deceased.
Details - Cause of Death: Heart Attack.
The last time Asphodel saw her father was a few months after she'd gotten married to Robert. They'd only spoken through her mother after that point. Robert never informed her of her father's passing; she only found out after escaping, almost two decades late.

Mother - Constance Beaufort
Age - 76 Deceased.
Details - Cause of Death: Brain Aneurysm.
The last time Asphodel saw her mother was on her deathbed. The last time Asphodel's mother saw her was the day before Asphodel had been abducted. After escaping Robert, Asphodel had found her mother just days before she died. Asphodel comforted herself by acknowledging that her mother was not in chronic pain at the time of her passing, constrained to a hospital bed. She held this comfort as she silently collapsed from agony at not being able to say anything. Not being able to hug her. She knew her mother couldn't handle the knowledge of what her daughter was. And that was if she even recognized her. Asphodel didn't know which would've hurt worse.[/right]

Personality:
Vampires are naturally violent, animalistic creatures, reacting instinctually during stress, anger, or hunger. Otherwise, their human disposition remains mostly the same. Asphodel specifically is far less forgiving towards men’s wrongdoings than women’s, due to her history, but she is still polite in general, giving the benefit of the doubt to strangers most of the time.

Strengths: ~Intelligence Well-versed in matters of both human and supernatural nature, Asphodel has the answers to all of the questions she doesn’t need answered. ~Sociability Beautiful and kind, Asphodel is easily able to charm others into helping her. ~Tenacity Despite decades of little progress, Asphodel does not give up, instead pushing even harder. ~Resilience Having to cope with the terrors Asphodel went through, while actively planning her escape, and thereafter, requires tremendous resilience.

Weaknesses: ~Paranoia Those who are honest almost always see others as inherently honest as well. Asphodel has learned this lesson, which has made her incredibly sensitive to trusting others. ~Insecurity Even with her enhanced strength and previous defeat of Robert, she doesn't always believe in her own ability to protect herself from other supernaturals, often causing her to run rather than fight when faced with direct confrontation. ~Desperation Asphodel is not immune to making risky or stupid mistakes based on emotion.

Mannerisms/Habits:
~Asphodel has a tendency to flirt as a form of distraction, especially in attempts to avoid being caught lying. It usually has a very high success rate. On humans, at least.

~She hasn't been genuinely emotionally hurt by another in decades, refusing to allow herself to get that close to someone again. However, in the rare instance where she is, she reverts back to the headspace she was in for many years in her early life, first with her father, and later with Robert. She will appear on the outside as unnaturally calm, disassociating to the point of sociopathic levels of empathy.

~Despite no longer sleeping, Asphodel still maintains a normal “morning” and “night” routine on most days.

Hobbies:
Asphodel spends her time engrossed in words. Written texts of every kind. Varieties of novels and manuals and pamphlets and newspaper articles and magical bound journals and translated hieroglyphic scripts. Reading, researching, studying. She loves gathering new information, memorizing useless fun facts, and can spend hours doing so without getting bored.

When she's not stuck in a book, she enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles. The larger, the better. Watching all the pieces get put together and there being a beautiful picture at the end makes the process of effort so rewarding, unlike the constant research of a cure that gets her nowhere except back at the start and perhaps institutionalized.

She also loves photography, and seeing how it's improved through the decades, though most of her projects she keeps hidden to herself.

She chases the sun. Though she can only see its true rays through gaps in the curtains for short periods of time at sunrise and sunset, Asphodel makes it a priority to do just that.

Fears: ~All vampires have an ingrained aversion to werewolves. Asphodel's may be intensified due to her insecurity. ~Graveyards, which were a stark reminder of her own state of existence. ~Unexpected loud noises, which cause her to startle involuntarily. This could be classified less as a phobia, and more as a trauma response. ~Uncontrollable Bloodlust. While not thrilled with the fact, Asphodel has accepted her need for blood consumption. What she has yet to accept is the person she becomes in the midst of a hunt.

Sexuality:
Asphodel is bisexual, though the only experience she has with a man is Robert. Since her transformation and subsequent escape, she's only been intimate with women. This could be due to her leaning submissive, and the trouble she has giving up that power to a man again.

She craves someone who can intellectually challenge her. She needs to feel safe, but not sheltered or controlled. She dislikes yelling or the smell of cigarettes. She loves laughing, even if her humor is a bit dark- a product of her experiences.

She still has a soft spot for the gentler side of humanity- gestures of selflessness and gratitude.
