Niji Hayashi is a short girl, only standing at a stature of 5'1 weighing about 110 lbs give or take. She has short, strawberry blonde hair that's chopped to her shoulders. Her eyes are a light green, and her left eye has claw marks across it starting at her forehead down and across to the left side of her neck. She can still see, but her vision is a bit blurry in that eye. Her right cheek has a matching claw mark. With a button nose and dimples. She wears a pale purple bow in the back of her hair, and a shawl that's greyish purple decorated with spiderwebs. Her corps uniform is purple hued, and her skirt is quite long. Going down to her ankles, where her geta sandals are. Giving her an extra inch or two. Making her 5'3 in her shoes.

Niji Hayashi is the Venom Hashira of the demon slayer corp, but how did she get there? It goes back to her grandparents. Niji's mom was born to a family, a loving one. Until Niji's mother got pregnant with a half American child. Niji's father had no want to be in Eimi's life nor his unborn half Japanese daughter. Not only did her grandparents flip, but so did Eimi's older sister. Eimi decided to leave her house and was taken in by a demon slayer. The former Flower Hashira. As her mother trained, Niji grew up, and around the age of 8 Niji's remembers her mother's crow bring a message. Bringing up Niji's aunt... and cousins? Niji doesn't remember much more of the message than that. Other than Niji's mom took her to a new, large place. She knew now was the Kocho's butterfly mansion. She met two women. A tall one with long, black hair, and another, shorter one with short black hair. Both of them wore butterfly clips, and she found out that same day this wa Shinobu and Kanae Kocho. Her cousins. For once she felt the warm of a real family, she had never thought she'd have cousins or a girl so close to her age.

It only took three years for the dream to shatter. At this point, a girl named Kanao had been adopted by the Kocho's and she was with her in a bedroom when the day Shinobu busted into the house, exclaiming that Eimi and Kanae had been killed by an upper moon on a mission. Niji thought her life would never be the same, she felt broken and shattered. She was only 11, and her mother died. She was grieving, and couldn't get out bed for weeks, but one day Shinobu entered her room with a heavy sigh. "What if I train you." Shinobu said, and that was what made Niji realize her life was maybe more. Niji had been following Shinobu around already, why not train? Why not become a slayer and then avenge her mother's death. From that day on, Niji trained to be a demon slayer. With her mother's blood in her veins, and training with Shinobu she surpassed her mentor in strength and then created Venom breathing. A branch of insect breathing that is stronger and relies more on deep strikes than slashes, and when she encountered lower moon number 4, a member of the twelve Kizuki. She won the battle with only claw marks permanently on her face to show of the battle. Only days after was she named the Venom breathing Hashira. Leaving now, 15 year old Niji with a story to tell.
