Raelynn is a young girl who was born into a happy and loving home. Everything seemed great and perfect until one day it wasn’t any longer. Raelynn was as a child a wild one, full of emotions that seemed to control her and she always seemed to have far more chaotic relationships than stable ones. She would always act on her impulses which would get her into far more trouble than good, which sometimes would annoy her parents and they would get mad each time she acted out, thinking she would grow out of it, which she didn’t. Things turned to the worst when Raelynn started to hear voices in her mind, sometimes she would see bad men, or monsters around, hearing voices telling her that they would hurt the people she loved which made her go mad. She accidentally one day while she was out skating with her friends hurt one of her closest friends who to this day still hates her. She punched her with a skate right to the face, which ended her friend up in the hospital with a concussion and a broken nose, and at that day Raelynn could have ended up with serious issues, until someone asked her what happened and they found out about her issues. Her parents and doctors decided it was better for her to go to a mental health rehabilitation to figure out what was going on with her. Find a way to help her and get her life back together, find a way to get her mind in check. It took a few weeks before she was even stable enough to talk to someone about the traumas and her twisted mind, but when the doctors put everything together they figured out that she had lived her life with schizophrenia and borderline disorder for years without any treatment and now was the time she actually got some help to get herself back together and live somewhat of a civil life. During her time in rehab she met a guy that became her first real friend, a person she could rely on and she knew he would always stick by her. They even left the facility at the same time and they would hang out like two best friends. He didn’t mind her disabilities, didn’t see her as a liability like her family and former friends. He just saw her for who she was and he even helped her when she once during a rough patch quit her meds and he found her a place she could stay which became a more permanent fit. Now after living with a person that is somewhat like a friend and older sister to her, she feels safe to be herself. At times she still slips into bad mental states, but with the help from the people closest to her she seems to always find her way out of it. She might sometimes drink, get into substances and sometimes enjoy music to cope, but she has learned to accept her differences and accept she isn’t like everyone else in the world. That she is different with her own issues, but she is okay with that, knowing her ways of charming and putting a mask on not letting anyone know the issues of her mind that she deals with every day. |
