You would expect a Dhampir to possess a myriad of vampiric powers. And you would be right. At least partially. Only Male Dhampirs can inherit the stereotypical powers of a Vampire. Any female born to a Vampire and human union will function exactly the same as a normal human being.

The only "Vampiric" qualities that a female Dhampir will possess, is eternal youth and beauty and a distaste for garlic. Katrina is divinely beautiful and an absolutely smoke show. She looks like an eighteen year old and although she may not know it just yet, she will in fact look that age for the rest of her life, not appearing to age at all. As for garlic, Kat hates garlic, but not in a way that will kill her but rather make her face cringe with disgust as she swallows it. Kat will happily cook a meal using garlic for her friends, so long as she doesn't have to eat it. Garlic has no effect on her. She just doesn't like how it tastes.

Being a paranormal hunter, Katrina is highly trained in hand to hand combat and in the use of firearms.

Most of her weaponry consists of iron and silver. Iron is a substance that can seriously harm and kill witches and fairies and as such, she owns two twin cold iron blades. Silver is regarded as a holy metal and it is said that Judas was paid in silver for betraying Christ, Judas threw the thirty pieces of silver he earned for betraying Jesus away before hanging himself. Katrina has an arsenal of weapons that fire silver bullets such as her two Glocks and a shotgun. Silver will kill werewolves and vampires. She also has a lot of garlic spray, that she sometimes uses as a pesticide for her plants.

A Dhampir is immortal unless killed and will never contract any diseases. A female Dhampir can only give birth to males.

Being a female Dhampir grants her some peculiar yet dangerous weaknesses.

Katrina has absolutely zero resistance to any form of mind-control, hypnosis or bewitching. She is extremely susceptible to it and cannot help but fall under the complete control of anyone who uses such powers on her. This includes any sleeping magic a fairy might use. A fairy will be able to alter her memory after doing so.

If a vampire bites/feeds on Katrina, she will experience intense pleasure and will orgasm rather than feel any pain. Katrina will also be extremely susceptible to the pheromones of werewolves, both in their human and wolf state. She will find herself hopelessly attracted to them and aroused by them.

Having sex with a Dhampir will allow one to read their thoughts and gently influence them and Katrina is no exception. A Dhampir can be turned into a full vampire, after becoming one they will experience intense feelings of obedience for who ever turned them. The same goes for werewolves.

Katrina will sell the blood of Werewolves, Fairies and Dragons for a hefty price to the B.P.A. She will sell the fangs of a vampire to the same organization for an even heftier price. She will cut the hair/braid of any Witch she hunts and sell this to the bureau.

Katrina hates supernatural creatures due to her family's history regarding them, but she is also deeply fearful of them too. Kat isn't a bad person. She thinks she's doing the right thing based on what the B.P.A. has told her. She believes all supernatural creatures are the same. Evil and looking to cause carnage. From her partially misguided point of view, she believes she's protecting the people around her.
