Vanora Fury

Vanora Fury grew up in the slums of a sprawling metropolis where the line between life and death was often blurred by crime, poverty, and corruption. From an early age, she displayed a natural talent for understanding and repairing technology, her curiosity always piqued by the human body and the way cybernetics could enhance or even replace it. She had no interest in school; instead, she spent her days working in under-the-table mechanic shops, learning the ropes of body augmentation and tech enhancement.

Her journey into the world of cybernetics began when a local gang leader’s right-hand man was severely injured in a skirmish. With no medical help available, Vanora was hired to patch him up. Using crude tools and salvaged parts, she saved his life, earning both a significant payout and the respect of some very dangerous people. This event marked the beginning of her career as a ripper doc, with her reputation quickly spreading throughout the city's underground.

As her skills grew, so did her notoriety. Vanora began working with the fighters of the city's underground ring, performing enhancements and repairs after brutal battles. She soon realized that the fight business was a perfect fit for her, dangerous, lucrative, and filled with clients who were willing to pay handsomely for upgrades that could make them stronger, faster, and deadlier. As the fighters became her regular clientele, she perfected her craft, pushing the boundaries of cybernetic enhancements, creating cutting-edge tech and implants to give them the edge they needed to survive.

Despite the cold, clinical nature of her work, Vanora never grew desensitized to the suffering of her clients. However, she understood that in this world, survival was everything. She kept a strong distance emotionally, preferring to focus on her work rather than form bonds. Still, there's a lingering desire to one day escape the grim underworld she’s entrenched in and find a better life beyond the neon-lit streets.
