On stage, he's self-depreciative, quick witted but keeps it brief. You're here to watch a sad boy sing sad songs, and he's happy to provide. Dance along, Outkast style. You're not here to hear the lyrics.
Some sets might find him coming off as a bit sloshed towards the end, but he still puts on a good show, and it's not an addiction, no sir!
Off the stage, he's reclusive, quiet, coming off as aloof when really he's just not so sure anyone wants to know him, anymore.
Ian's so much cooler than Christian, yaknow?

Style
Grunge, leaning towards brit-rock.
Both in fashion sense and musical sound.
Neutral and dark tones unless day off, seen in softer oversized comfier wear by only those closest to him.
He keeps his public persona pretty consistent.

Tastes
Ian's an eccentric shithead, who smokes clove and menthols like it matters, flirts with no one but seems happy to write longing romantic lyrics that speak of heartache and 'just out of reach'.
No one's quite sure what his interests are, besides music, late night bike rides, and his cat.
Reading? Might catch him on transit with a fantasy novel, sure.

The Artist
Ian's been on the stage as a solo artist for a good three years, now, and only seems to be growing in fame. There's little to no juicy gossip, he seems content to avoid crossing with other celebrities and keeps his featured artists to the same level of renown as himself. Or less.
Prone to posting up soundcloud demos to encourage his label to give him more creative freedom and found through doing covers at a dive bar on the weekends with a band he doesn't even remember the names of, Ian's sound is a blend of the sad metal crooning of Sleep Token, with a bit more midwest emo roots hiding among the foliage of The 1975 and Artic Monkey's more pop sounds. It's a little weird, guitar focused, and shows a heart on his sleeve.
We're just not so sure it's his.

Background

Fleshed out later. Timeline goes:
- Born, middle class, decent enough, middle child.
- Coasted to college, got a degree in [ redacted ] with a full scholarship. Somehow.
- Started working as a server at varied sports bars and shitholes while finishing his last year.
- Convinced one of these dive's owners to let him play with the band, sing some covers.
- Discovered, unearthed a soundcloud under simply Lore, socmed carries weight and gets him a contract.
- Signs with a label that pigeon hole's his sound.
- Eugh.

Prefer if you call me Lore if you need to differentiate between myself and Ian, and I've been writing for over 20 years.
I mirror post length and average about 5 paragraphs of varied length if given the reins on size; third person only for both of us please.
I'm open to PMs or starting / joining a private group, and happy to chat at any time.
