    Ever woken up on the wrong side of bed? Probably by falling out of it after a hangover? Ethan fits that description to a T. Despite his dishevelled and gruff exterior, he dresses rather well. Normally with a shirt and tie as is department standard. Normally with some form of waistcoat or sometimes a jacket and hoodie underneath for cold weather. While sure, he wouldn't fit in at high society parties, he has enough common knowledge to know what would help to fit in when the situation arises. After all, people wear more than two outfits.

    His hair is usually brushed back, medium-short normally thinner at the sides and back and messier on the top. A thick stubbly beard adorns his lower face and is usually neat, unless of course the razor is broken. Then again, it's probably best to just leave a good thing as just that. His left forearm has a tattoo of a skull cracked through the top of the skull and a matching crack at the lower right of the jaw as if shot through, with smoke rising from the top of the cranium.

    His right arm forearm has a long scar from just below the wrist to just before the elbow, wrapping around from a chase early in his career as a Beat Cop before he was able to apply for joining the Precinct's Detective Bureau.
