Do you know what Hell is?
Hell is a place within the soul.
It exists in every soul, even that of a newborn. Even in animals. Even in the soul of the earth itself.
Hell fits into every thought you try to hide. Every thought that frightens you. Every uncomfortable feeling.

Hell has existed ever since the first shadow fell upon the ground to show that even light has places it cannot reach.
It’s in war. It’s there when humans kill and when animals spill blood just to survive.
Hell is in every storm, when nature reminds us how truly threatening it can be, how it can wipe out all life in mere seconds.
It’s there every time you could have helped someone but chose not to intervene.

Hell is not a physical place.
It is the place you least expect.
It is right beside you.

That is where Eyebane comes from.
Whether he is as old as Hell itself is hard to say.
But he has been here for a long time and will remain for a long time to come.

Eyebane is ancient demon trapped in a scythe. He offers his powers to those he deems worthy, though it is nearly impossible for any human to be deemed worthy.
Throughout history only a few have possessed him. Yet all of them, without exception, were already fearsome warriors before they ever laid hands on it. And afterward… they became nearly unstoppable.

The demon cares nothing for the goals, morals, or convictions of those who wield it. As long as Eyebane feeds on demonic souls, it doesn’t matter how many innocent human lives it takes or what cause it serves.

Now, lost for millennia, Eyebane hungers more than ever.
