Victoria Isle Frankenstein

The main source of necromancy is drawing life energy from one thing and putting it into another. Once you can understand this concept, master it, you realize that all other necromatic spells are just that transfer or expenditure of that energy.

Victoria understands this basic concept, and her understanding grows with every use. With her understanding of medicine and the science of the body (in relation to the times), it gives her a unique sense of just how much power she needs to perform a task. How to fine tune that task to the most effective method.

Power can only be drawn from organic material, and living things are best. A board can be rotted to dust and fuel nothing but anger, but a whole human being can bring her back from the brink of death or reanimate even the freshest of corpses. It is a conscious decision, but if your emotions get the best of you, organic material around you can start becoming destroyed and wasted into the air.

While necromancy is best for simply destroying things or creating and healing undead, it cannot be used to heal. Once that life energy is stolen by a necromancer, it quickly becomes corrupted and can no longer sustain true life like it once did. Only the false horror of undeath.

But it must be warned, the power is addictive. To hold the essence of life (and death) in your palms like a play thing quickly becomes an addiction. People begin to consume more and more of it in an effort to get the same high like the very first time. Even Victoria is not immune to this feeling, and it is her only true need now.

What no one has done, is bring the body back to life. Let alone with an intact soul or conscious. Except Viktor Frankenstein, and even he wasn't sure how he pulled it off. Even Victoria fails to meet this requirement. She has a soul, or what's left of it, but her body is still as dead as it was the day of her fall. Something Victoria plans to change

🜋 Immortality
Simply put, so long as she consumes, Victoria is immortal. Unaffected by age or disease.

🜋 Decay
The key ability, Victoria can decay and consume the life essence of any organic item that she can touch. This magic is put directly into body and can be utilized for a number of tasks such as regeneration or reanimation. It cannot be used to heal another living soul, or to repair a damage organic material. Once the magic is taken, it becomes corrupted by her undead nature, and can only be used for that purpose.

🜋 Regeneration
If her body is injured, and she has enough magic at the time, Victoria can repair herself without difficulty. She cannot repair damage done by fire, but she can remove the damaged area. If Victoria needs to replace a lost piece of herself, she can take it from any fresh corpse and attach it to herself. The new piece will quickly remold itself to fit the state of Victoria's remains at the time of her death.

🜋 Reanimation
Victoria can reanimated any deceased individual that she can touch, so long as she has enough magic at the time. The corpse has no will or personality, and is an extension of Victoria herself. The corpse cannot perform tasks outside of what a body in its current condition could do. It's state of decay is slowed, but will progress with time.

🜋 Undeath
If presented with another undead that does not have a will of its own, Victoria can attempt to take control of the creature. If it is already under the control of another, it becomes a matter of power and age.

🜋 Fire
The only thing that will truly kill her is fire. Victoria goes up like paper. Only severing the burning piece will save the remaining body before it spreads.

🜋 Hunger
The longer Victoria goes without consuming the life essence of another, the weaker she grows. The body becomes weaker, more easily damaged, and she can no longer heal her injuries. It decays her mental state to the point of near insanity, upon which she will begin to decay any organic material in reach until the need is satiated.

🜋 Decapitation/Amputation
The removal of body parts will not kill Victoria, but it will render her immobile. The head remains the source of animation, and anything separated from it will cease to function and eventually rot.

🜋 Isolation
Like any social creature, Victoria will begin to suffer from bouts of madness when put through long periods of isolation. She will hear voices of her reanimated corpses to fill in the lonely void.

🜋 Captivity
While not deadly, captivity within an inorganic cell or binds, can render Victoria helpless. Depending on the length of time, she may begin to weaken from hunger and isolation.
