Cleo Maren Rowe

Cleo grew up in a coastal town in Maine with an older brother who raised her after their mother passed away and their father left. Her family was small and scrappy, they didn’t have much, but they had storytelling, bonfires, and books. She was the weird kid in school who wrote essays that were too poetic and doodled cryptids in her math notes.

She left home at 18 for art school in New York but dropped out after a year, choosing instead to travel for a while working odd jobs. Now she’s settled in a small studio apartment back near her hometown, working for herself as an illustrator and part-time tarot reader.
