Miktelia Furikel

In the throws of ancient times. There were many different races and most were subservient to others. One particular race was ahead of the evolutionary curve and evolving from basic plain's horses into creatures resembling humans but half human and half horse. The race had advanced but unlike what normal centaurs looked like in the world. There was a race that pushed further and they became the enforcers of the tumultuous world. Known as the Centaur Alpha race. Direct descendants from an ancient goddess, they were bigger and stronger, blessed with a unique type of celestial talent. They had the capabilities of shape shifting into a normal human form, but it was a temporary thing and they used it for intelligence gathering.

Miktelia was born like most Alpha centaur and she was immediately tested as a youngling. Each one was gauged at birth, on ability and intelligence, along with many different tests done. She ranked just second to the top. When an alpha centaur is tested, they are placed into special area's to grow and develop their talents. She was born with a single most defect and it was the inability to shape shift into a human form. Often times reverting into a equine form and this was not needed for their race. So in that regard she ended up second on the charts. Each day was learning, different arts of weapon usage, application of various salves and medicinal items. By the time she was an adult, she had acquired a vast amount of knowledge on Alchemy and had come to favor large two handed weapons as her main use. Though as all female centaurs come of age, they are required to become mated to a male.

The custom was created to keep the offspring moving along. However her mate was brutally and tragically killed while assisting a race that was needing assistance against oppression of the Winged Clan. When news returned to her of the tragedy, she had been with a child at the time. However the sadness she felt was too much for her body to handle and in time she gave up almost entirely. This ended up in the child being a detriment to her body and was forced to be terminated. She believed that everything happened for a reason and time indeed heals wounds. Since their race was highly long lived and she had plenty of time to cope and eventually she recovered but it left scars on the inside that heals slowly. She now spends all her time in a self sustaining journey across her world, honing her alchemical craft and knowledge.
