Amunet Marr

A young woman in her mid twenties, Amunet is known for the striking cut of bright red hair and sky blue, deep-set eyes. It makes her stand out, along with the facial features she carries from her father, a foreigner. She has a hooked nose, full lips, a high brow, and a sharp jawline from both genetics and a fasting style diet. She wears heavy dark robes with a high hood when in public. The robes leave her looking shapeless in the folds of fabric, but underneath is a lithe frame covered in scarification marks.

Amunet has over 300 scars now on her body. Some are individual sigils and symbols, while others are long scripts of prayer copied from old magician texts and demonic scriptures. Each one having a potent effect to increase her abilities. It is considered an archaic method, many preferring body paint or tattoos, but older magicians swear by the effectiveness of carving the sigils deep into the flesh. The more permanent the method, the more powerful it becomes.

The only scar on her face is a stretched burn mark across the left cheek and up to part of her eyebrow. She does not talk about how she received it.

Her hands are tattooed in white ink; a tradition from her father's homeland. It covers several paragraphs of religious text. For those who can translate Farhimin, it speaks to the blessing of magic upon the earth. Heresy in some places, and blessing in others.
