Typical clothing style: Much like her personality: mixed and eclectic. There is no pinning down a “style” that is fully her. It goes from boho-hippie gothic to casual comfortable without hesitation. Colors are a mix, though she generally sticks to dark, neutral or even dark, earthy tones with a hint of other colors thrown in. Long skirts made of comfortable cotton. Shirts with loose, long sleeves that cover down to her wrist. Or, on the flip side, camisole tops that bare her shoulders and show off the tattoo winding around her arm. Boots that are a little worn out but comfortable. A mix of jewelry that came from different sources, though one piece always remains with her: a ring on a chain that had belonged to her father.

Anything Especially Unique? River is a child of four different races: human, Fae, Fallen, and Demon. Though most Demons believe that she was killed or even died after her parents, there are others that know the truth. Everyone is sort of watching and waiting to see what kind of being River turns out to be. If she’s dangerous, she could be a danger to those she’s closest to.

Scent - River carries with her the scent of sage and sandalwood with just a hint of mint undertones. Most people think of it as a unique perfume that lingers in the air in her wake. Those that are in the know can trace the unique mix back to the spunky young woman.

Mind - River’s mind is completely closed and difficult to get through. She learned from her grandmother and aunt how to block her thoughts and is very careful with letting down her guard. Those that try to read her thoughts are subjected to a sort of stream of consciousness that can loop around in circles (mostly to throw people off).

River is a fairly chaotic bundle of energy that hardly knows how to sit still. She is a bright and cheerful young woman that brightens most rooms with both her personality and her smiles. Very little gets to her, but when it does, she lets it show without meaning to. That is, she wears her heart on her sleeve and allows everything to show: disappointment, anger, sadness, etc. She has never needed to mask her emotions and feels comfortable enough to let others see how she feels.

She is equal parts stubborn and sarcastic, both traits that she picked up over the years from those that raised her. She’s not above giving a smartass answer to a question that should have an obvious answer. But she knows her limits and knows when to give an honest response to a genuine question. She can be a bit snarky with those that know her best and is given to tease when she’s in a particularly playful mood.

River loves helping people, though it can sometimes be her downfall. She is willing to go to extreme lengths – often very recklessly – for those that she cares about. It is a trait that worries those that care about her and can put her in very real danger. On the other hand, she is wickedly clever and has the ability to quickly think on her feet, which can save her in these often dire situations.

She doesn’t anger easily, as she has learned to go with the flow of things – as Sylvie has taught her – but her temper can be a fiery and dangerous thing. It’s a quick thing that burns out in a flash, but it’s enough to burn those that are the root cause of her anger. Be wary of picking a fight with her!

When she turned eighteen, everything was signed over to her. Most of it remains in the account, save for what she’s used to help others. A little here and there to pay back the family that raised her and kept her safe. She lives primarily off what she makes at the bookstore

Reputation: Outcast. The Hebert family is well-known for having ties with the Fae of the Seelie Court. That doesn’t mean they are wholly trusted. The church views them as abominations, as Fae are too closely related to Demons in their eyes. Added on top of that is the family being spellcasters. Those few that trust them treat them as they wish to be treated. Others view them as dangerous or just odd. River herself is cast in this light, though there is the added taboo of her blood working against her, especially with the church.

Highest Education Level Achieved: Graduated high school with honors. Attended two years of community college before dropping out to help Sylvie and her girlfriend with their bookstore. River is also a spellcaster adept and is working towards being a mentor for her younger cousins.
