THE LIFE OF AURELIA
Aurelia, oh dear Aurelia, a girl born into richness and wealth, never needing anything in life. People thought just because she was one of the richest girls out there that she would be evil, mean and bitchy, but that was far from reality. She was one of the sweetest, yet kindest girls with a warm bubbly heart. She always enjoyed being there for others, always said the nicest of things to make anyone feel better, a true shoulder to cry on. She was a true friend, a person you always could rely on even if she was one of the popular girls, she would always have your back and she would never be a bully, being a true pageant queen and prom queen. But as college years began and high school ended everything in Aurelia's life was about to change, she was about to start at her dream college with her dream academics in English Literature, but everything in her life changed when she met him.
During her first year at college Aurelia fell in love with an older guy, whom she met during welcoming week. She had just broken up with her high school sweetheart, a guy who treated her like she was made of glass and that she could shatter at every possible moment. But this guy she met at college, he was a guy of mystery, danger and everything that her ex boyfriend wasn’t. He didn’t treat her like she was going to break, didn’t treat her like a princess, it always seemed interesting, till the day it wasn’t. One day when a guy was flirting with Aurelia in front of him he snapped and got angry at her, angry that she let him flirt with her so obviously that it caused them to fight for the first time ever and from there everything seemed to change for the worst. If she did something he didn’t like he would get mad, if she tried to stand up for herself and not do things like drinking and doing drugs, he would call her boring, hit her when she did something he didn’t like which left her with bruises, even if she fought back each time. He changed everything about her very soul, changed who she was, how she acted, until the day she caught him cheating right in front of her, and they broke up right there and then. But things between them never really ended, since she still to this day falls for his tricks, still sees him around, still messes with him as he messes with her and sometimes she even caves in to the love she believes she has for him and he has for her after all the years.
After meeting him Aurelia's personality changed and she turned into a whole other girl. She was far more sarcastic, seeming to be nice and kind, but he had really messed her up. She acts cold, distant and even lost, like nothing makes sense to her anymore. She even started to lie, keep secrets to the people that care about her, even if she deep down is broken. Sometimes when she even is stressed out she breaks out in rashes, but she never has opened up to anyone about what happened during college and to this day she blames herself for her change, how she feels desperate and in need of love all the time, to feel validated, even if she has stopped validating others and has lost herself totally to him, and still to this day parties and goes out to drown her sorrows and feelings with meaningless sex.
