He that Was
Anduin is of old Qualinoth, the fallen kingdom of the Elves that is now known as the Northern Badlands, north of the frontier town of Swansmeade.
In ancient times he was a battlemage, a protector of the Qualinoth. Anduin was loved by many, a teacher and a scholar, that enjoyed teaching the young in the arts of war. For him it was nothing more than an art and he, like many, assumed there would be no such need to implement the arts that he enjoyed teaching.
Centuries passed and in a time long lost to history, known only to the lost elven people of Qualinoth, Anduin fell in battle against an enemy of incalculable power. They had come from another world, bearing magics that had never been seen before upon the world of Astralis. He and his fellow mages finally bound the portal the invading forces used to enter the realm but it cost them dearly. The resulting blast made a plain where a forest once stood, flattening all into a crater so vast it seemed flat to those who walked within it. All attending the battle were slain, even Anduin.
Personality
Anduin was always driven, pursuing both his career and interests with equal abandon.
Interests
Anduin has always had a love for carousing. He was quite the provacateur in court, demonstrating human forms of dancing to the other courtiers and he had no shortage of paramours.
Anduin also spent a great deal of time exploring g the human lands to the south, learning their customs and partaking of their food and hospitality in return for the Elvish trade goods he brought with him.
