    Welcome to a collection of slow-burn, character-driven worlds,
    where intimacy is earned, danger shapes devotion, and every bond is forged under pressure.

    These settings are inspired by history, myth, and imagination... Regency salons and shadowed estates, war-scarred frontiers, courts heavy with secrets, and landscapes that remember what people try to forget. Romance here is not rushed. It grows through restraint, trust, shared trials, and the quiet weight of choice.

    My characters are built with:

  • Playerfiles: What's He Like?

    "Write something to suit everybody and scarcely anyone will care for it;

    I am William, the roleplayer... the writer... and trust me, I have been called many other monikers... some good, some not so good.

    As a roleplayer, and creative writer, I have been around (constantly) a longgg time, (like since AOL Hell Daze at the Rhydin Inn, Medieval Tavern, or the plethora of other chatrooms... and yes, I have seen, and endured, a lot of changes over the years...

    Expertise? Well, let's see... I have run my own groups, both as sole owner and co-partner... and have been a plain member in quite a few others. So, my background in creative writing/roleplaying and managing thereof, is not lacking... I am not the expert in one thing, but a Jack-of-all-trades, Master of None.

    What genres do I like to roleplay and write stories for?

    I have delved mainly into Ahistorical themes :
    Medieval, Renaissance, Old West, and Regency themes).... and yes, even attempts at the Fantastical, such as: Light desert fantasy, Pompeian volcanic nightmare, and even Victorian Steampunk.

    I have run my own groups, both as sole owner and co-partner... and have been a plain member in quite a few others. So my background in creative writing/roleplaying and managing thereof, is not lacking... I am not the expert in one thing, but a Jack-of-all-trades, Master of None.

    💠Beneath Banners -n- Crowns -:-- a medieval-fantasy roleplay universe where kingdoms rise and fall beneath the weight of fealty, ambition, and deceit. Kings and queens rule from gilded thrones, yet their crowns rest upon fragile foundations built of blood and loyalty. Across the realm, nobles, knights, and commoners live and die beneath fluttering banners... symbols of glory that conceal dark intrigues and shifting alliances. Every oath sworn carries a cost; every secret kept may spark a war.

    Victorian Steampunk -:-- Anachronistic Hearts, a harsher, stranger vision of the Industrial Revolution... one where steam, gears, and glass have not merely reshaped society, but consumed it. Electricity is rare. Steam-driven marvels and spring-propelled machines roar and clatter through choking cities. Towers of iron and smoke blot out the sun; clockwork contraptions hum in every shop and home. The world surges forward at a furious pace, wealth for a few rising in lockstep with soot-blackened streets and swelling, desperate crowds. Progress comes at a price.
    Factories devour bodies; children labor beside iron giants; disease thrives in cramped brick alleys. Art recoils, nature is trampled, and the old ways are left to rot in moss and myth beyond city walls. Governments are corrupt, business is a battlefield, and power lives in bribes, gears, and steam valves. Some embrace this mechanized future... hungry for control, wealth, and empire. Others dream of burning it all down... reclaiming forests, rivers, and humanity from the metal skeleton swallowing the world.
    Between them stands the fragile heartbeat of a civilization straining under its own ambition.

    In a world where industry rolls ever onward and nature watches from the ruins,
    what will you protect… and
    what will you sacrifice to do so?

    In writing stories, I love to do *romance* and *love-stories*…. not only the kind you are thinking of… but those of love where it is a powerful force, stronger than any other…


    How so, you ask?
    Love is a force that can be divided, consolidated, directed and redirected…. The force behind man (or woman)’s motivations… for every great adventure and fantastic story, *is derived from, or comes forth, from a love* ... whether is love lost, abandoned, in search of, or feared to love, or actions and reactions caused by it, or motivated by it... or if it is countries lost, wars fought... tis the power of Love of and for… power… greed…, of social standing…. in religion… freedom… between cities, countries, or especially the love of individual people. Love has the ability to mar minds, cause likeable folks to be mean, for mean folks to be kinder... for greedy men to be more giving... the giving to be more stringent...

    My true choice, however, lies in crafting Love and romantic -driven narratives ... not the contemporary kind but those imbued with a timeless, almost poetic quality. For me, love is the ultimate motivator, shaping the grand arcs of characters, societies, and worlds.

    Whether it’s love sought, feared, or lost, I believe this powerful emotion lies at the heart of every compelling story. It can inspire greatness, ignite conflict, and redefine individuals and nations.

    Conversely, its counterpart — hate — adds complexity, driving the nemesis elements of storytelling.

    What binds a man to his land?
    What power within allows him to give his life to preserve his land and
    the lives of the families who work it?
    It can only be LOVE!

    And no world, fictitious or real... can do without it !!!!

    In every story, I aim to weave a world where emotions, especially romance and love, drives the narrative .... be it as a source of hope, a force of destruction, or the reason behind every great adventure.

    Together, these forces shape the emotional bedrock of the worlds I create and inhabit.
