  • Appearance

    Under most circumstances, Paris is seen in her 'plague doctor' disguise. Her clothing is very modest- in fact, every inch of her body is covered. She wears a white plague mask, a pink head-scarf, and a vintage dress with pink accents.

    When not in this disguise, Paris reveals herself to be a large insectoid-like creature. A large wasp-like abdomen extends from her waist, sporting a long ovipositor. She has large compound eyes, and antenna protruding from her forehead. Being a cryptid, Paris is a genderless entity with no reproductive biology. She simply chooses to identify as feminine to blend in among mankind and lower their guard.

  • Abilities

    Ovipositor:
    Paris has a long Ovipositor capable of reaching up to 3 feet long. This is what she uses to paralyze victims and lay eggs within their body.
    The paralysis venom lasts a week and is most effective on humans. The duration of the paralysis on metahumans and different races of humanoids may be shorter or longer. This time varies depending on each individual's durability and health. Paralysis can be completely cured by consuming some of Paris' blood.

    Parasite:
    The eggs laid within a victim's body will soon hatch into maggots, eating the victim from the inside out while they are still alive and conscious. once these maggots have eaten enough, they will explode and disperse plague particles into the air.
    Eggs and maggots can be killed by consuming some of Paris's blood. They can also be surgically removed. when they explode the plague particles spread through the air within a 100 yard radius, but this can be be prevented with an air-tight means of containment.

    Infestation:
    When paris touches someone, that portion of their skin gets infested with botfly eggs. This hatches into larvae that embed themself in the skin. They stay embedded in the skin until they are removed or they mature, in which painful wounds are left behind.
    This is essentially just normal botflies. they can be removed and treated pretty easily, it's just uncomfortable.

    Antennae:
    The antenna on Paris' head are very similar to that of a wasp, and serve the same function. This gives her an enhanced sense of smell and hearing, about 10x more sensitive than an average human.

    Everlasting Disease:
    Paris lives as long as plague pathogens persist. the more people infected, the stronger she becomes.
