Magical Abilities
✞ CONTROL OF UNDERAGE MAGIC▪ Even before being told that he was a wizard, or having any knowledge of magic or the wizarding world at all, the young Draven displayed an exceptional degree of control over his usage of underage magic, which he used to torment many of the other children at the orphanage. He was able to move objects with his mind, control animals to do his bidding, and even make bad things happen to those who annoyed him. ✞ PARSELTONGUE▪ Draven is a Parselmouth, a trait he inherited from his ancestor, Salazar Slytherin, the magical ability to communicate with snakes. It seems that most of his ancestors from his mothers bloodline (even his mother, grandfather and uncle) inherited this highly unusual trait; such traits are commonly passed down through families through inbreeding, a practice employed by the family. This ability was one that he favoured immensely, as he is extremely capable of communicating with the Serpent of Slytherin.

The tale of Draven
Draven is a half-blood wizard born far from the magical world. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father vanished before Draven was old enough to remember his face. With no family to claim him, he was raised in an orphanage where he quickly learned that attention often meant vulnerability. While the other children fought for recognition, Draven watched quietly from the edges, studying people rather than trusting them. Strange and unexplainable events often seemed to follow him whenever his emotions slipped beyond his control.
Everything changed the day his magic revealed itself and he received his letter to attend Hogwarts. For the first time, Draven felt as though the world might finally have a place for him.
At Hogwarts, Draven quickly proved himself to be an exceptionally talented student. His natural aptitude for charms and disciplined approach to learning made him stand out among his peers. While most students were fascinated by spectacular spells or dueling, Draven found himself drawn toward the more obscure corners of magical theory—ancient texts, forgotten enchantments, and branches of magic that most students were quietly discouraged from studying.
It was during his early years at Hogwarts that Draven revealed a rare and unsettling ability: he could speak to snakes. The gift of Parseltongue was famously associated with the bloodline of Salazar Slytherin, and the discovery immediately sparked rumors among students. For Draven, however, the revelation awakened something far more personal. To the outside world, however, Draven appeared to be everything Hogwarts valued in a student. He was admired by his peers, respected by his professors, and widely considered one of the brightest young wizards of his generation. His accomplishments earned him the positions of prefect and eventually Head Boy of Slytherin House.
